Naomi Campbell and Law Roach spark speculation they’re shading Rihanna as they seemingly criticize her busty NYFW dress – after runway show snub

In a recent video, Naomi Campbell and her friend Law Roach fueled rumors that they may have been subtly criticizing Rihanna, following an apparent snub by the singer during New York Fashion Week.
Last week, Rihanna seemed to disregard them upon her arrival at the Alaïa show during New York Fashion Week. She greeted British Vogue editor Edward Enninful but bypassed Campbell, 54, and Roach, 46, who were seated beside the editor.
In a video shared by Roach, it appears that the two individuals were donning identical ensembles reminiscent of what they wore at the Alaïa fashion show. They seemed to voice their opinions about the shimmering crystal dress adorned with ample bust Rihanna wore at the event.
In the video, the pair adopted a modest style as expressed by Roach, who stated, “We don’t attend events like the other girls. We don’t show up flaunting our cleavage or curves. Instead, we maintain a very demure appearance.
Campbell then chimed in saying, ‘very mindful.’
The two began to ping-pong off each other saying, ‘Very cutesy.’
‘Don’t give too much,’ Naomi said.
‘Just give a little,’ Roach said.
In a manner that resembled Anna Wintour, the Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Campbell expressed, ‘The focus isn’t on self-display, but on highlighting the apparel instead.’
‘Very demure,’ said Roach.
‘Very Cutesy,’ added the cover model said.
‘Very mindful,’ said Roach. ‘Very mindful,’ echoed Campbell.
In the caption for the clip, Roach expressed that they had just arrived in London, United Kingdom, and were eagerly anticipating acting modestly alongside their favorite icon, Naomi.
The pushback against the two was fast and furious.
One follower criticized the situation, saying it was inappropriate, unfortunate, and disrespectful, as two Black individuals were shaming a fellow Black woman.
“She wasn’t the one eagerly seeking recognition from the billionaire as she passed, but rather it was clear that someone had seen her on video and commented on it.

Campbell showed her appreciation for the video by liking it three times, and her comment garnered over 1,700 likes.
On previous occasions, these two individuals have found themselves in conflict. Back in 2014, during the British Fashion Awards, a video surfaced of Naomi holding onto Rihanna and saying something to her. The pop star responded with an icy stare.
Later, it seemed as if Naomi apologized and lowered her head, leaving puzzled spectators speculating that Naomi inquired of Rihanna, “Are you under the influence?” The video quickly spread across social media.
For several years, photographs of Rihanna and Naomi have surfaced frequently – most notably when Naomi planted a kiss on Rihanna, the Fenty brand ambassador, during her Fenty Puma fashion show at New York Fashion Week in 2016.
In 2017, there were reports suggesting that Rihanna’s relationship with Hassan Jameel, who was previously linked to Naomi, might have led to their rumored disagreement.
According to The Sun, it’s said that the supermodel, believed to have had a relationship with the Saudi businessman back in 2016, felt resentful because the singer and Hassan seemed to develop such strong feelings for one another – since she dislikes being in a position where she feels like ‘number two’.
For quite some time, Rihanna and Jameel were a couple, but they eventually parted ways after a few years had passed.
