Nana Akua celebrates her engagement to partner Stephen Gillen at a lavish party with famous pals including Eamonn Holmes and his partner Katie Alexander on star-studded guest list
On Sunday, Nana Akua held a glamorous event in London to commemorate her engagement to entrepreneur Stephen Gillen, which was attended by many prominent figures.
53-year-old television host from GB News made a striking entrance at an extravagant event wearing a stunning gold dress. Notable figures like Lizzie Cundy and Eamonn Holmes were part of the star-studded guest list.
Back in March, Nana publicly announced her engagement during a broadcast, excitedly sharing that her long-time colleague, Stephen, had finally popped the question. This joyous moment occurred two years after they first crossed paths when Nana interviewed him on her program.
Previously, I found myself facing a 17-year prison term due to charges related to gun possession, conspiracy to rob, threatening someone’s life with a firearm, and using one for an indictable offense. However, I have since taken a turn in my life, transforming from that past situation.
He is now CEO and co-founder of Raw Media Creative, a digital media brand.
Grandma made quite an entrance at the party, wearing a dazzling sequined dress alongside her future spouse.

Eamonn, accompanied by his partner Katie Alexander, utilized a walking frame for assistance, enabling him to enter the event with her support.
Additionally, Lizzie made an elegant entrance at the party, dressed in a deep-necked gray dress embellished with flowers.
In March, I shared exciting news with my audience during my show on GB News – I am getting engaged! I expressed that it seems my romantic pursuits have reached a new phase as I displayed my stunning engagement ring on-air.
Stephen subsequently announced the news on Instagram, posting: “I’m incredibly proud and deeply love her. Nana Akua – soon-to-be my spouse.
‘Few big things and great surprises coming in the media soon guys. Wish you a blessed day.’
Previously, Nana mentioned recalling her encounter with Stephen during an interview and commenting: “I remember wondering, ‘What makes this gentleman so reserved? Is there something amiss? Why doesn’t he speak more clearly?’
‘Then a little while ago, he split up with his partner and we ended up going out.’
Nana went onto share details of her engagement to Stephen during a joint interview on GB News.

Stephen shared that he found the stone ahead of others, a move he believes was prudent. Fortunately, he has acquaintances in Hatton Garden who assisted him on this matter. They were truly helpful individuals who offered guidance, for which he expressed his gratitude.
On the final day, I organized everything, but unexpectedly, it turned out to be quite a stressful ordeal. To my disappointment, the ring didn’t fit properly.
Due to a need for immediate return, I found myself making my way back to Hatton Garden. I only had a window of two hours left, as our flight was scheduled for the next day’s morning.
‘So I don’t know anyone who has changed to a ring size in two hours, but I managed to get it done.
In the end, there was quite a scare, but let me tell you, I am incredibly grateful to my friends below for their assistance.
Nana added that she and Stephen were hoping to tie the knot ‘next summer.’
