Nacon and Spiders have released a new trailer for GreedFall: The Dying World, introducing players to the characters they’ll meet in the game. The trailer highlights potential companions, enemies, and love interests, and features the actors who provide their voices.

GreedFall: The Dying World will officially launch on PC (via Steam) on March 10th. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be available two days later, on March 12th.

Nacon and Spiders have released a new trailer for their story-rich RPG, GreedFall: The Dying World, showcasing the characters you’ll encounter and the actors who voice them. The game is currently available to play in Early Access on Steam, and the full version will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 12, 2026.
Throughout the game, you’ll meet eight potential companions who can join your journey – if they survive and decide to stick with you. These companions are key to both fighting and the story. In battles, you can directly control them, and each one has a special skill tree based on their history and what they’re good at. You can customize each companion’s abilities to create a well-rounded and powerful team.
Companions aren’t just helpful in battles; they each have their own unique story to tell. By completing their personal quests, you’ll learn about their past, what drives them, and what they hope to achieve. As you play, you’ll build relationships with these characters that can blossom into strong friendships, heated rivalries, or even romance, all based on the decisions you make.
Meet the companions of GreedFall: The Dying World
I’m so excited about Alvida! She’s voiced by Tracy Ifeachor, who you might know from games like Starfield and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. From what I’ve heard, she’s part of the Naut guild – they’re famous for being incredible navigators and explorers. But Alvida isn’t just skilled, she’s a total rebel with a strong sense of right and wrong. She really sticks to her beliefs and goes after what she wants with incredible determination.
Fausta, voiced by Genevieve Gaunt, is a spy working for Thélème. She comes from a well-respected noble family and is known for being friendly and a talented diplomat. However, she’s also a private person who keeps to herself.
Ludwig is voiced by Sam Woolf (known for his work on The Witcher, Season 3). Once a soldier in the Deutan Empire, he now works as a smuggler and doesn’t want to be seen as a hero. He’s known for being sarcastic and blunt, doesn’t bother with pleasantries, and strongly dislikes those he feels have caused hardship for others.
Nílan, voiced by Atilla Akinci, grew up in Teer Fradee and is a close friend of the main character. He’s starting his training to become a Doneigad – a wise scholar in Yecht Fradí – and feels a strong duty to protect the knowledge of his people.
Safia, voiced by Jacqueline Boatswain, is a member of the Bridge Alliance and strongly opposes imperialism. She’s an experienced explorer with a natural curiosity about the world, and she’s also highly skilled with firearms.
Sheda, voiced by Jess Nesling, is a strong warrior from Teer Fradee. She’s a close friend to both the main character and Nílan, and bravely protects them on their quest to become a Doneigad, even risking her own life.
Sybille, voiced by Camilla Aiko, grew up surrounded by politics and secrets as a member of a powerful merchant family. While she’s slow to trust, she becomes incredibly loyal to those who prove themselves worthy.
Till is a skilled fighter and former captain of the Coin Guard, voiced by Dario Coates (known for his work in games like Dying Light: The Beast and Metaphor ReFantazio). Now, he’s dedicated to helping the main character as a way to make amends for his past. He’s a bit reserved and tough, but fiercely protective of those he fights alongside.
GreedFall: The Dying World takes place in a war-torn world filled with political schemes. You play as a native of Teer Fradee, forced from their home, and must fight to regain their freedom. Staying true to the original GreedFall’s RPG roots, this new game lets you define your own path. Your choices, how you handle quests, and the relationships you build with your companions – who can become allies, enemies, friends, or even lovers – all shape your unique story and determine the outcome of your adventure.
GreedFall: The Dying World is currently playable on PC through Steam Early Access. The full game will be released on PC on March 10, 2026, followed by a release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 12, 2026.
