Daisuke Obana’s N.HOOLYWOOD Spring/Summer 2026 collection, while designed and produced in Japan, finds its inspiration in South Africa. The accompanying campaign, shot by Hisashi Iesaka, used landscape-style photos to create a feeling of being on safari and showcase the expansive scenery.

Okay, so the collection immediately gave me safari vibes – lots of white and grey, like a belted white set and a grey tank with hiking pants. They even had some cool leopard-print patterns on technical fabrics. But as the show moved into the evening at this resort in Nagano, things shifted to a more streetwear feel. Think faded denim jackets, big, bright green plaid shirts, and striped tees with some really interesting mismatched panels. It was a cool transition from outdoorsy to city style.

As night falls, deep blacks and navy blues become prominent. The collection is built on solid colors, featuring a vibrant blue set with modern tech elements. Alongside these, bold patterns are introduced. A white, spiral design – inspired by African textiles – covers a t-shirt and shorts, and a geometric pattern appears on black items like pants, shirts, and a jacket.
