Myth announces break from streaming following his YouTube contract ending
As a long-time fan of Myth, it’s bittersweet to hear about his indefinite break from streaming. For nearly a decade, we’ve watched him grow from a teenage streamer on Twitch into one of the biggest content creators in the world, especially during the early Fortnite days.
The popular streamer, Myth, has officially announced an indefinite hiatus from streaming.
After completing his YouTube contract, well-known streamer Myth has decided to take a hiatus from streaming due to needing some time off. Over the past two years, he had been contractually bound to stream exclusively on YouTube, but it appears that he’s ready for a break now.
And yes, this hiatus is indefinite. There is no time frame on when the YouTuber will be back.
Myth announces official break from streaming
For nearly a decade, Myth has held a significant position as one of the most prominent live-streamers globally. His journey began on Twitch where he rapidly gained popularity during Fortnite’s early days. Over time, he’s streamed numerous other games, making him a key influencer within the content community.
And now, it seems like the man needs a break.
As a gamer who’s been immersed in the world of gaming for nearly a decade, I’ve come to realize that it’s crucial for me to step back and recharge. This feeling resonates deeply within me.

But when will Myth be back? Well, he answered that question, and fans may not like it.
As someone who has always been punctual and reliable throughout my career, it’s quite unusual for me to find myself in a situation where I don’t know precisely when I will return. This is unlike anything I’ve ever done before, making it all the more daunting. My entire professional life has been characterized by a steadfast commitment to punctuality and consistency, so stepping away without a clear timeline feels like a significant departure from my usual routine.
Amidst the bustling world of streaming, it’s crucial to carve out moments for relaxation. It appears that Myth prioritizes his mental well-being above all else.
Will Myth return to streaming?
Luckily, Myth did answer on whether or not he will return to streaming.
“I’m eager to return and continue creating content authentically, reflecting who I am now as well as my personal identity.”
Myth first started streaming as a teenager and is now 25 years old.
Over the course of that period, I’ve experienced significant self-development. Consequently, it seems necessary for me to find a fresh approach – or perhaps just me – when dealing with this matter.
As a dedicated viewer, I realized that if my favorite streamer didn’t take a break, there would be no change in his content. He’d keep streaming, business as usual, which wouldn’t help him evolve as a creative artist.
It appears that this break might prove beneficial, allowing Myth to decide the most suitable move for his professional growth.
