Mystery admirer? MAFS bride Gia Fleur is spoiled with roses and romantic gifts on Valentine’s Day after explosive showdown with Scott McCristal

She has repeatedly declared her relationship one of the strongest in the experiment.

Gia Fleur, a bride from Married At First Sight, seems to be doing really well after the show, receiving beautiful Valentine’s Day gifts recently. This is happening while viewers are still watching her marriage to Scott McCristal unfold on television.

On Saturday, the 35-year-old blonde woman shared photos on Instagram hinting at a romantic getaway, leading her followers to wonder if she’s in a relationship.

I was immediately drawn to this cozy scene – a beautiful red, heart-covered gift box was open on a comfy lounge. Inside, a vibrant pink card with ‘Round 1’ written on it peeked out, surrounded by several perfectly wrapped presents with cheerful yellow stripes. It just felt so sweet and full of anticipation!

Over the top, Gia cheekily captioned the post: ‘V day things w bae,’ followed by flirty emojis.

A beautiful photo showed a bouquet of rich, dark red roses mixed with delicate baby’s breath, all tied together with a sophisticated white ribbon.

The classic blooms were arranged in a luxe display, suggesting no expense had been spared.

We still don’t know if the flowers came from her co-star, Scott, or from another person in her life.

The romantic display comes after their first hurdle on the show.

On Wednesday night’s finale of Revelations Week, Gia challenged Scott about his previous opinions on being a father, after she shared her own experience with motherhood.

I was so relieved when Scott told me he understood where I was coming from. He said he could have reacted differently, maybe even judged me, but he actively chose to be supportive and accept things as they were. It meant the world to me.

‘I could have gone the other way going, no, I don’t like this, but I’ve accepted it,’ he told her.

If I hadn’t been okay with it, I would have let you know right away and wouldn’t have even tried to pretend. I wouldn’t be feeling this close to you, or feeling this way at all. So, it’s clear I really like you. And honestly, the idea of having a child doesn’t worry me anymore. It used to, but things have changed, and I’m actually fine with it.

He went on to say he wanted to prove himself.

‘I want to show you that I can be a good father. I want to be accepted.’

Gia acknowledged the experiment was pushing them to deal with deep issues very quickly, but she was ultimately glad they were having those difficult conversations so early on.

She simply wants a genuine, loving connection with open communication, hoping they’ll leave the experience as a couple, hand-in-hand.

After a heartfelt talk, the couple successfully worked through their first big challenge and felt closer than ever, ending with a kiss and a renewed sense of connection.

Gia admitted, feeling anxious, ‘I keep wondering why his opinion matters so much to me, and then it hits me – I have a crush on him.’

The couple had often said they were one of the most stable pairs on the show, and they’d told their friends and the other participants that they felt secure while others struggled.

Scott consistently highlights their strong communication as a key asset, explaining that they’ve been completely responsive and willing to address even the most challenging issues directly.

Gia agreed, saying the experiment helped them have tough conversations more quickly, and in the end, it actually improved their ability to communicate effectively.

She explained during the show that they’ve addressed all the questions and expressed affection with hugs and kisses, unlike others.

I’m secretly glad this happened, because it’s better to deal with these issues and see if we have a chance now, rather than later.

As Gia’s relationship blossoms on television, her Valentine’s Day post hints that she’s feeling loved and appreciated, both on and off screen.

Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
