What is MHA: Vigilantes?
The comic book series titled “Vigilantes” serves as both a follow-up and an origin story for the popular manga “My Hero Academia,” penned by Kohei Horikoshi. Hideyuki Furuhashi, who previously contributed to the K series, is responsible for its creation.
In a prelude to the main My Hero Academia series, the story of Vigilantes takes place five years prior. It focuses on Koichi Haimawari, a college student, and his friend Pop☆Step, who are both approached by the vigilante Knuckleduster to participate in their vigilante activities.
Characters who are well-known from the primary My Hero Academia storyline show up in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. These characters include All For One, Present Mic, Nighteye (also known as Midnight), Erasure (Eraser Head), and Ingenium.
