It’s been announced that Xin Yuan Studios will be ending the service for their open-world action RPG game titled “My Hero Academia: The Strongest”, which is based on the widely popular My Hero Academia anime series. This game, published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-PLUS JAPAN, will no longer be available from March 31, 2025.

This gem is brought to us by the talented minds at Xin Yuan Studios, a studio based in China.

You might recognize the name from Mr. Kohei Horikoshi’s hugely popular anime and manga series. In this game, you can interact with iconic characters such as Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, and many others who hail from that very same universe.

Sadly, it was shared on X (previously recognized as Twitter), that My Hero Academia: The Strongest Team will cease operation on March 31, 2025. They expressed their heartfelt thanks by saying, “We are deeply appreciative of your support and enthusiasm during this adventure.

You can play and use Hero Coins while also requesting refunds

After the announcement was made, the option for in-game purchases has been deactivated and eliminated from both Google Play Store and App Store. If you happen to still have the game installed, you’re able to carry on playing it and use any leftover Hero Coins until the service ceases.

As a shopper who made purchases between January 25, 2025, and February 24, 2025, I’m excited to share that you have an opportunity! If you still have your verified receipts, you can submit applications for refunds before the termination date. Don’t forget to request your refund before it’s too late!

Furthermore, developers are offering players Special SSS+ copies of Limited Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins via an email reward. The MHATSH Customer Support team will continue to assist with inquiries for a period of 30 days following the shutdown.

It’s sad to witness a game derived from a well-known franchise being closed, given that numerous fans thought it had tremendous promise. Yet, some argue that this result was predictable due to the developers apparently losing interest in the game. Although many gamers are disheartened, others are content with its closure.
