The way she met her new love, Spiros Katsagans, in Greece under a full moon at an outdoor restaurant is nothing short of magical – truly straight out of a fairy tale!

At the 2024 Academy Museum Gala held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday night, they were spotted together on the red carpet, making a seldom appearance.
The two hit the red carpet together only about once a year.
It’s Spiros Katsagans, a native of Athens, Greece, who has been her secret boyfriend for more than a year. They first crossed paths in the year 2022, at an open-air restaurant, when their encounter took place after she finished filming My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3.
Six years ago, she separated from her husband of more than two decades, actor Ian Gomez, with whom she shares a teenage daughter.

The comedienne, actress and producer beamed while next to her man.
The movie icon had on a gold/yellow satin dress as she added yellow gold jewelry. He had on a black tuxedo with a white shirt.
This is not their first red carpet, however.
At the 3rd Annual Academy Museum Gala held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on December 3, 2023, in Los Angeles, they stood together; however, their demeanor suggested more of a friendly relationship rather than romantic interest.
