My Back is Fked!

Roxy Jacenko has disclosed that she’s currently dealing with severe backache, a problem that cropped up only two months following her breast revision operation.

44-year-old “PR Queen” posted on Instagram an image of a confidential conversation between herself and her spouse, Oliver Curtis, which they exchanged privately.

During their chat, she shared with Oliver that she was experiencing severe back pain. However, he inquired if perhaps the discomfort might stem from her recent breast augmentation, given she had increased her implant size.

‘My back is f**ked,’ she wrote.

‘What from? Boobs being too big?’ he asked Roxy.

She might have overlooked it. For a sum of $20,000, it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t maximize the value. I’m just pointing that out. This was her response.

Roxy underwent breast revision surgery in March after discovering one of her implants had ruptured.

The process was overseen by breast specialist, Dr Anoop Rastogi, while PR maven was seen in Double Bay only two days afterwards. (This version aims to maintain clarity and natural flow of language, while using more common terms like ‘breast specialist’ instead of ‘boob specialist’ and ‘PR maven’ for ‘PR Queen’).

Daily Mail Australia understands Roxy went up a size from her previous implants.

She returned back to work at her Talent and PR agency, The Ministry of Talent, the following week.

Before undergoing surgery, Roxy informed Daily Mail Australia that although the rupture took place in a single implant, she planned to have both of them taken out and new ones inserted instead.

‘I’ll be having the implants removed in two weeks, and replaced at the same time,’ she said.

The tear was found during a regular MRI, which is typically included in her yearly cancer screening. It had been about two years since she last went for one.

She mentioned that, although the news initially startled her, a rupture in the implant wasn’t completely surprising.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but feel a jolt when the update arrived, but I suppose it’s just part of the thrill when you delve into something that doesn’t quite belong in its intended space, as I discovered.

During my radiation treatment for breast cancer, I experienced a condition called capsular contracture on the same side. This means that I’ve already undergone revision surgery, as it was necessary due to this condition.

Despite the health scare, Roxy said that she has not considered removing her implants altogether.

‘Not at all, I have had them since I was 24,’ she said.

In other words, it serves as a reminder for me never to neglect scheduling regular health checks related to my past cancer diagnosis.

She even had advice for women who were considering implants for themselves.

‘If you aren’t happy with what God gave you, change it,’ she said.

My focus is always on doing what’s best for you, without giving much thought to others’ opinions. And just like many before me, I won’t shy away from challenges or setbacks.

This version maintains the original message while using more natural and easy-to-understand language that flows smoothly.

In 2016, when she was 36 years old, Roxy was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following this, she underwent a six-week course of radiation treatment. Subsequently, she had a surgical procedure to partially remove the affected area.
