In this game, you assume the role of Kai, a 15-year-old girl, who ventures to a secretive, quirky small town, primarily to take care of her unwell grandmother, Nonna. However, it soon becomes apparent that caring for Nonna involves responsibilities beyond just nursing duties.

In simpler terms, this town’s history is quite unique. Approximately a hundred years back, there was a massive meteorite named Moon Dragon that crashed into a popular tropical vacation spot. This event not only transformed the landscape but also altered the people living there. Tragically, most inhabitants didn’t survive, but the rescue team members who chose to stay formed a small and secluded community, which we now know as Mutazione.
