Must see: Watch the moment Billie Piper almost spoiled Doctor Who return

Back when I was preparing for my unexpected comeback on that iconic series, Doctor Who, I almost gave it away weeks prior! You wouldn’t believe how close I came to spoiling the surprise with a thrilling regeneration scene.

The episode entitled “The Reality War” premiered on May 31st. In this installment, Ncuti Gatwa said goodbye to his role as the Fifteenth Doctor. A regeneration scene then unfolded, revealing Piper, who was once known as the Doctor’s companion Rose Tyler.

In the unique episode of “Doctor Who: Unleashed” aired on Saturday, which celebrated the 20-year milestone since the 2005 reboot of “Doctor Who”, Piper almost exposed the secret to everyone.

On the official Doctor Who Instagram feed, they shared a previous conversation I had, where I was inquired about potentially rejoining the show.

As a dedicated Whovian, I’d gladly say: “Absolutely, I’d return. It’s hilarious really, because I never seem to step away from the world of Doctor Who; it feels like there’s this endless afterlife for the show that keeps me company.

It’s clear that the topic continues to capture interest among many, as it has a large fan base. Consequently, we organize conventions where we connect with numerous fans, and there’s always additional content being produced,” she added on.

It’s constantly shown on various television channels, and each new generation seems to embrace it. As a result, it never seems to end or finish, unlike other jobs I’ve had.

Reflecting on the situation, I must admit there was a momentary lapse when I enthusiastically exclaimed, “Returning is an absolute blast!” It soon dawned on me that I might have misspoken, so I quickly clarified, “I’d still go back, but it feels like I never left. Just a bit more seasoned now.
