Must-see trailer: Night Manager star’s Netflix series that’s ‘horror take on woman becoming a wife’

Netflix recently released the trailer for its new horror series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. The show, which explores the frightening side of getting married, features Camila Morrone (known from The Night Manager) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus).

This chilling horror story centers on Rachel and Nicky, a couple preparing to get married. The film follows them during the week before their disastrous wedding.

Rachel and Nicky are getting married in just five days! They decide to drive to Nicky’s family’s remote cabin in a snowy forest for a small, private wedding.

Okay, so I just watched the new trailer, and things are definitely looking grim! It really feels like something huge and terrible is about to go down, and the whole thing is just super tense and builds up the suspense really well.

The scene begins with Morrone’s character walking into view wearing a wedding dress and visibly out of breath. She immediately says, “I’m sorry.”

Okay, so the new trailer is seriously stressing me out! It shows Rachel walking down the aisle, but then it cuts to all these characters looking super guilty and apologizing. The weirdest part? I saw a quick shot of someone holding up a note that just said, “Don’t marry him!” Like, what is going ON?!

It’s still uncertain if Rachel will marry Nicky, but we’ll find out soon! The series will be available on Netflix starting March 26th.

Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, Gus Birney, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine, and Sawyer Fraser will also star alongside Corey Morrone and Isabella DiMarco.

Haley Z. Boston created the show, with Weronika Tofilska (known for Baby Reindeer) directing alongside Axelle Carolyn and Lisa Brühlmann.

Hilary Leavitt, along with Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of Stranger Things, will executive produce through their production company, Upside Down Productions.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is released on Netflix on 26 March.
