Season 2 of Murder in a Small Town brings back familiar characters and introduces some new ones. Savonna Spracklin plays Isabella Harbud, the reliable dispatcher and receptionist at the Gibsons Police Department. You may also recognize Spracklin from her roles as Casey Woodburn in season two of the Canadian series Tribal and Annie Sullivan in season three of Departure.
Bethany Brown plays Corporal Laila Jackson, a new and determined police officer who keeps to herself, in season 2. Brown is known for her roles in shows like The 100, The Astronauts, and Supernatural Academy. She’ll also be in The Smashing Machine, a wrestling biopic starring Dwayne Johnson, later this year.
Dakota Guppy plays Holly Alberg, Karl’s younger daughter. She moves in with him after getting into trouble at school during the first season. Over the second season, her relationship with Karl and Cass grows stronger. Before this role, Guppy was known for her work in the Gumboot Kids series and for playing Chloe Blackshaw in The Returned.
Cassandra Sawtell plays Steph Alberg, Karl’s daughter, who visits him in Gibsons during season 2 to recover from a difficult breakup. You might also recognize Sawtell from her roles in Harper’s Island (as Madison Allen) and The Chicken Sisters (as Frankie Hillier).
Marci T. House plays Angela Clyburn, the medical examiner who joins the show in season 2. She’s portrayed as a very thorough and skilled professional.
