Murder in a Small Town isn’t airing a new episode tonight (here’s when it will return)

As a dedicated fan who has been hooked since the very first episode of Murder in a Small Town, I must say this break in the schedule is driving me up the wall! Just when things were heating up with Cassandra’s near-death experience and Alberg taking on a sociopath, they decide to take Tuesday nights off? It’s as if they’re trying to test my patience, or maybe they want us fans to start our own investigation into who’s behind this timing!

Following his heroic act of rescuing Cassandra from imminent peril, Alberg now faces the looming threat of an extremely dangerous individual arriving. Unfortunately, there won’t be a fresh episode of Murder in a Small Town airing tonight, October 29th.

This week, there’s a pause in our programming schedule due to the ongoing World Series. Tonight, they will be airing Game 4.

When will Murder in a Small Town return with new episodes?

On Tuesday, November 5th, FOX will pause airing fresh episodes for both this series and “Accused”. Given the date, it’s quite understandable as it’s Election Day! Broadcasting new episodes would be highly unlikely on such a day.

It seems that the next installment of our beloved cozy mystery series won’t air until November 12th, which was hinted at in the latest promo they showed us.

What to expect in Murder in a Small Town season 1, episode 6

In the latest installment, Cassandra’s safety is being ensured, yet she’s gripped by fear for Alberg’s wellbeing. His current assignment revolves around a dangerous sociopath making an appearance in town. This individual is ruthless and prepared to take lives, with a burning desire for retribution at the moment.

A doctor from Alberg visits Alberg to inform him about what’s ahead for him. This doctor happens to be the one who diagnosed him, and she now realizes that he intends to harm her because he was labeled as a sociopath in his diagnosis. After all, why would someone want to be identified as a sociopath?

At a certain moment during the radio conversation, an officer is found to be in distress. Given her recent experiences, Cassandra becomes particularly concerned for Alberg’s wellbeing.
