Mum Roxy Jacenko’s Hamster Rescue Causes Full-Blown Son Meltdown
On a particularly terrible day on Tuesday, public relations expert Roxy Jacenko encountered an unfortunate incident involving her son’s pet hamster being stuck behind some furniture.
In a video, a 44-year-old person showed a ten-year-old named Hunter trying to persuade a small mouse that had hidden itself under some built-in cabinets to come out.
After Hunter became extremely distressed due to the situation, Roxy was forced to hire an emergency home service for their pet.
On Tuesday, Roxy posted a video on Instagram showing her trying to persuade Hunter to come out from a snug hiding place, where the hamster had found itself stuck.
In the footage, Hunter can be heard pleading with the animal to ‘please come out’.
The soldiers subsequently made an effort to save the troubled animal, hidden beneath a stack of drawers, from there.

Hunter appears to be experiencing a severe breakdown, and all that crosses her mind if something were to happen inside, it would certainly smell bad,” she quipped in the caption.
In the end, the service personnel successfully saved the small grey hamster, and Roxy posted a picture showing the hamster being re-united with Hunter.
She titled the picture, “Joyful tears from one household member,” as it shows Hunter weeping.
‘It was not me I assure you,’ Roxy added.
It comes after Roxy shared a cringeworthy ‘mum’ experience with her followers last week.
On her social media platform, the mother of two, aged 44, shared a picture of her son, Hunter Curtis, making an impolite hand gesture towards her.
In the image, Hunter appears to be relaxing on a large float in a pool, occasionally giving his mother a playful salute using only one raised middle finger.
Meanwhile, Roxy seemed unfazed by Hunter’s playful act, responding with a witty comment alongside his photo.

Eventually, he expressed what was on his mind, playfully suggesting, “Let’s move along with this camera.” This is how it appears in her Instagram story.
Apart from soaring through society, she also confided in Hunter about her daily activities, such as lounging by the pool, catching some sun rays, and enjoying a refreshing Tac Tics mint lollipop, a well-known brand.
In her narratives, she incorporated details from their shared day with Hunter (their common child), whom she also has with her husband, Oliver Curtis.
In one snap, Hunter could be seen posing by a bicycle.
Initially, we embarked on a bike trip since it seemed appropriate under such conditions (being nearly 90% humid), as she pointed out. To wrap up the day, there was some leisurely pool time, and Hunter added his mischievous antics to the mix.
In the year 2023, Roxy and her spouse, Oliver Curtis, along with their daughter, Pixie (aged 13), and son, Hunter (aged 10), moved their family residence from Sydney to Singapore.
They took action once Oliver secured a job in the countryside, causing Roxy to close down some of her Australian ventures to relocate with him.
Yet, she’s now back in Sydney and resurrected Sweaty Betty PR, a move made two years following her resignation as the company’s director.
In September, Roxy confirmed her return and clarified that she wasn’t meant for traditional “homemaking” but instead thrives more easily managing as many as six businesses.
