As a seasoned gamer who grew up in the ’80s, I can hardly contain my excitement for MultiVersus Season 3! The addition of The Powerpuff Girls and Amazon Queen, Nubia, has me feeling like a kid in a candy store. And let’s not forget the nostalgic touch with the Gremlins-inspired Midnight Showing map. I mean, who doesn’t love a good movie theatre brawl?
Next week, it’s confirmed that MultiVersus Season 3 will commence, with the recent introduction of Beetlejuice from Season 2 last month. This update introduces The Powerpuff Girls to the roster, and later on in the season, Amazon Queen, Nubia from DC Comics, will also join the fray.
Season 3: Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice offers a ‘Ruined’ version of Townsville city map, along with characters Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles. Also included are the Rowdyruff Boys and Dynamo Suits character variants, as well as a fresh map concept, the Midnight Showing, which is inspired by the movie theatre setting from the ’80s cult film, Gremlins.
The third season of MultiVersus, titled “Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice,” is scheduled to begin on various platforms including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC starting September 17th. To learn more about this season, you can watch the trailers provided below.
