MultiVersus Adds DC’s Queen of the Amazons, Nubia, to its Roster
As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for strong female characters, I am thrilled to see Nubia, the mighty Queen of the Amazons, join the roster of playable characters in MultiVersus! Growing up reading Wonder Woman comics and marveling at Nubia’s fierce spirit, it’s surreal to now be able to control her in a game.
Today, WB Games and Player First have expanded the playable character lineup in MultiVersus by introducing Nubia, Amazonian queen and guardian of Themyscira.
In the third season of MultiVersus, titled “Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice” that started in September, Nubia, an Amazon who first appeared in Wonder Woman #204 back in 1973, is now included among the playable characters. Alongside her, this season also introduced The Powerpuff Girls and a map called ‘Destroyed’ City of Townsville.
Regarding Nubia, she functions as a melee damage dealer and belongs to the Assassin class in combat. Her Staff of Understanding enhances her abilities, providing a versatile moveset that includes spear attacks at range and divine powers. She is capable of slashing, striking, delivering powerful kicks with the staff, and even creating shockwaves.
Now you have the chance to play as the character Nubia in MultiVersus. Additionally, her variant from Future State, which can be purchased, is also included. MultiVersus is currently accessible on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and personal computers.
