A video surfaced on YouTube in June from the channel Prism42, which suggested evidence of Tyson having inappropriate online conversations with a minor named @LavaGS. According to Prism, when she was 20, Tyson reportedly had a friendship with this 13-year-old boy. She presented screenshots as proof, which allegedly showed Tyson making crude jokes. Furthermore, when @LavaGS was 16, Prism claimed that they met up in a private location.
Tyson and Lava have publicly refuted the claims made against them in the video. In a post on X, Tyson stated, “I never engaged in any form of grooming,” while Lava asserted on their social media platform that the accusations against them are unfounded.
Lava denied the claims on X, calling them “massive lies.”
“Regarding Ava, she never engaged in any wrongdoing and only made some edgy jokes. I was never harmed or manipulated in any way during these videos. It’s unfortunate that this situation draws attention away from the real children who are being exploited online every day. I want to make it clear that I am not depicted as a victim in these videos or at all.”

MrBeast arranged for me to speak directly with Lava, who clarified that she was not groomed by Kris Tyson. She explained that she didn’t meet Kris alone, but rather in the presence of her family and MrBeast’s crew. Additionally, when Lava was 13 years old, she ran a Discord server with Kris Tyson.
