As a seasoned observer of the world of entertainment and influencers, I must say that the lives of these young stars continue to astound me. Today, it’s announced that YouTube sensation MrBeast is set to marry his partner, influencer Thea Booysen, also known as the future Mrs. MrBeast.
The host of “The Beast Games,” aged 26 and the most popular YouTube channel subscriber, popped the question to his girlfriend of two years on Christmas Day. On New Year’s Day, he announced their engagement.
Yesterday on Instagram, he posted a picture showing him proposing to Booysen in their living room. The popular content creator, known for his YouTube channel with over 341 million subscribers, also shared more proposal photos. In these pictures, they were wearing holiday sweaters designed by MrBeast and family members could be seen looking on.
27-year-old Booysen proudly announced their engagement online, sharing a captivating video of the proposal moment and displaying her stunning new ring – a radiant diamond set in a rose gold band, adorned with sparkling diamonds on either side.

According to a spokesperson for MrBeast, during his initial rise to online stardom, he occasionally resorted to immature humor and employed language that some might find inappropriate, much like many young people experimenting with their public persona.

In an interview, the couple mentioned that Booysen’s family traveled from South Africa to North Carolina specifically to spend Christmas with them. Donaldson expressed his desire to involve Booysen’s family in this significant event as they are very dear to her.
Booysen mentioned that we were unwrapping gifts, and for the final present, he requested I shut my eyes as it was a surprise.
Donaldson admitted that he deliberately let a big box fall to create some commotion prior to handing over the actual present, which contained a ring, to Booysen.

He explained that his friends assumed he’d prefer a grand, public proposal, perhaps at the Super Bowl or another large venue. However, he desired something quite the opposite – an intimate, private moment instead.

In essence, it will provide an excellent opportunity for them to unwind and appreciate life’s joys.
I recently found myself echoing Booysen’s sentiments when he mentioned that tying the knot at this juncture feels more like a mere formality. In my opinion, his idea of exchanging vows on a secluded island, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, sounds incredibly appealing.
She mentioned that they won’t aim for a grand, elaborate wedding. Instead, it will be a small, cozy affair with only the closest family members and friends present.
In the year 2022, Donaldson and Booysen crossed paths when MrBeast was in South Africa for a visit. The quartet shared a meal together through a mutual acquaintance. Donaldson was charmed by the genuine and intelligent demeanor of the YouTuber, leading to an immediate connection as they put it themselves. As he shared with People magazine, they hit it off right away.

At the end of last December, Rolling Stone shared news that Donalson, alongside singers Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and celebrity chef Guy Fieri, were among the famous personalities who signed production agreements with the Pentagon to enhance their appeal among Generation Z by promoting the military.
