Beast Games Season 2 Episode 4 release date

The fourth episode of Beast Games Season 2, called “The Survivor Takeover,” released on Jan. 14.

Beast Games Season 2 Episode 4 recap

Beast Games Season 2, Episode 4, continued the story from the previous episode. In Episode 3, the “Captain Bribe” game was introduced, offering team captains a large sum of money—but at the cost of eliminating their own teams. The last episode ended with someone pressing the button to accept the bribe, and Episode 4 revealed it was JT, who did so for $1 million.

When MrBeast asked if he had anything to say to the teammates he’d eliminated, JT simply said, “Not much.” He knew the other teams likely wouldn’t want to speak to him anymore, and accepted that no one wanted to hear from him. He said he’d have to live with that, and apologized to his pink team, explaining he was doing it all for his family, who are incredibly important to him.

Beast Games Season 2 Episode 4 results

In the fourth episode of Beast Games Season 2, the remaining 20 players searched for 10 hidden cannonballs. The first 10 to find one advanced to a competition for a $1.8 million private island, where they were greeted by host Jeff Probst.

Probst described the next Beast Games challenge as a five-on-five relay race where each player had a unique job. The first person threw coconuts to win a key, the second solved a tile puzzle for another, the third had to land a ball on a small platform, the fourth guided a ball along a wire, and the fifth completed a jigsaw puzzle.

The Yellow Team ultimately won, but the other team remained in the Beast Games competition, even though they didn’t win the island.

The next challenge on Survivor was called “Get a Grip,” and it tested the contestants’ endurance by having them hold onto a pole for as long as they could. Ultimately, Ethan accepted a bribe, which allowed Ian and JC to continue in the competition.

Ian and JC both made arguments for why they deserved to win the island competition. Ultimately, Ian won with a moving speech, receiving votes from all eight contestants.

A twist then arrived. JC received a $10 million coin.

MrBeast said that if you reach the top six, you’ll get to flip a coin for a chance to increase the prize money to $10 million. However, if you’re eliminated before reaching the top six, the coin—and the chance to win the extra money—is gone, and the prize will remain at the guaranteed $5 million.

He then asked what was going on in JC’s mind. The contestant replied with one word: “Leverage.”
