Mr Tumble’s Exciting New Role Revealed Just Weeks After CBeebies Exit!
Children’s television icon, Mr. Tumble, has shared news about his latest job opportunity, just a few weeks following his departure from the program.
For more than twenty years, Justin Fletcher’s cherished character, Mr. Tumble, has been a beloved figure on BBC television screens, serving as the lone host of Something Special.
Previously this year, it became known that Justin would no longer be the sole, full-time host of the show. Instead, three other hosts will join him to distribute the responsibilities more evenly.
Recently, only a few weeks have passed since the initial announcement, and now it’s become clear that Justin has secured a fresh opportunity. Remarkably, this role invites viewers to participate as well!
This October, for the first time in three years, Justin is set to embark on a tour titled “Justin Time To Rock” starting in Bromley.
Justine’s tour schedule extends up to November, but he guarantees that he won’t stop performing until spring of 2026. Tickets for many concerts will likely be available for purchase starting tomorrow.

In an enthusiastic tone, Justin shared that he can’t wait to set off traveling again, as he’s gearing up for a tour this year with his fresh new show titled “Justin Time to Rock.
Traveling across the country, showcasing our performances, and making new friends are things we truly love doing.
‘We can’t wait to put the band together and dance and sing along to some fabulous party songs.’
A teaser synopsis for the show reads: ‘Justin and his friends are putting together a Rock band.’
With a multitude of tunes at their disposal, they’ll find it beneficial if you lend them a hand in selecting the top-notch songs for singing and dancing.
Justin’s Something Special has become one of the BBC’s most popular children’s programmes.
The program broadcasted on CBeebies incorporates Makaton signs, spoken words, and visual symbols to facilitate communication among children and foster the growth of their linguistic abilities in an enjoyable and engaging manner.
A significant transformation is about to take place in Something Special as the latest season introduces not one, but three new faces: Maddie Moate, Ben Cajee, and George Webster who will join Justin Ferman, altering the show’s landscape forever.

Television host Maddie, recognized for her work on the CBeebies program “Maddie’s Do You Know?”, recently posted a thrilling announcement on Instagram a month ago.
Accompanying a selfie featuring Mr Tumble, both on set and with the rest of the team, she posted: ‘A year ago, I was fortunate to join an extraordinary project… ‘Something Special’, currently in its 14th series, starring the cherished Mr Tumble and Justin Fletcher!’
If you haven’t encountered it before, ‘Something Special’ is a kid’s television program designed to aid young viewers in learning communication and enhancing their language abilities. It employs sign language (@makaton signs), speech, and symbols to make learning interactive, engaging, and enjoyable.
The fresh installment continues to be an upbeat, inviting environment (packed full of Mr. Tumble!), while also introducing some well-known characters from CBeebies.
Ben Cajee and I were part of the team, allowing us to lead the kids on their clue-finding adventure, in search of their delightful, spotted surprise!
‘I can’t even begin to share my gratitude and awe of the production team behind this show.’
It’s truly heartwarming to see how much affection and attention to detail is put into filming, turning it into a genuinely enjoyable experience for the kids.
This program truly embodies the pinnacle of public service broadcasting. It consistently prioritizes the needs and interests of children above all else, as it rightfully should.
‘The programme wouldn’t exist without all our wonderful contributors and all their families.’

Maddie won a BAFTA Children’s Awards for best presenter back in 2017.
Simultaneously, Ben, a member of the CBeebies team since 2015, shared details about this thrilling new project through his social media platform.
Ben wrote: ‘Got the nod to be part of the new presenting line up on Something Special.’
In my youth, aside from playing as an opener for England’s cricket team or managing West Ham United’s midfield, I was unsure about my career path. And even today, I’m still undecided about it.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself incredibly blessed to immerse myself in the world of sports, interact with young minds, and contribute to broadcasting. It’s more than just a career for me; it’s a passion that comes alive every day.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel the weight of history with this beloved series stepping into its 14th season. The importance of upholding the legacy for these talented young actors and our dedicated audience is never far from my mind.
I’ll strive for excellence and assure you that I will take good care of this production, aiming to uphold its value both currently and in the days to come.
The premiere airs on my birthday, which is on Monday, 13th January. It’s quite fitting, as it feels like a wonderful present and an excellent opportunity.
