Moving on! Christina Hall is back filming The Flip Off WITHOUT estranged husband Josh Hall just days after filing for divorce
As someone who has followed the lives of Christina and Tarek El Moussa from their early days on HGTV’s Flip Or Flop, it’s been a rollercoaster ride to witness their personal lives intertwined with their professional success. Their charisma and chemistry made them a beloved duo on the show, but behind the scenes, their marriage crumbled, leading to a tumultuous divorce in 2018.
Christina Hall is back to shooting her new HGTV program, “The Flip Off,” sans her estranged husband, Josh Hall, a week following their mutual divorce filings.
A new reality show called The Flip Off has been produced, following up on the success of Flip Or Flop from a decade ago. This program features Christina, who gained recognition alongside her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa during their time on the original series.
Josh, aged 43, and Christina, aged 41, were slated to appear alongside Tarek, 42, and his present spouse Heather Rae El Moussa, 36, in the upcoming show.
Last week, when Josh and Christina announced their intention to divorce, it sparked great interest and debate about what this means for their ongoing project.
Now, but unexpectedly, sources close to the situation have informed People that Christina is once again working on The Flip Off without Josh by her side.
Whether the footage that Josh has filmed prior will make it into the episodes that ultimately get broadcast is yet to be determined.
In May, it was revealed that Josh and Christina would be going head-to-head with Tarek and Heather in a house flipping competition. Their goal was to make the most profit from their projects.
An unexpected development occurred on July 16, two years after their wedding, as Josh and Christina announced their intention to divorce.
A source shared with Us Weekly the next day that “The Flip Off is being made without Josh’s involvement. The production is continuing without him.”
Heather and Tarek might have anticipated the change since reports indicated that Christina and Josh’s separation wasn’t sudden but rather, they had faced challenges for some time.
The Flip Off is set to air on HGTV in early 2025 with a two-hour premiere.
As an obsessed fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when HGTV first revealed that Tarek and Christina were teaming up with new partners, Heather Rae El Moussa and Josh Hall. The announcement had me on the edge of my seat! In this new series, we’ll witness the trio in action as they race against each other to discover undervalued properties, close the deals, breathe life into them through renovations, and eventually sell them for a hefty profit – all while vying for the enviable title of top performer!
The HGTV website still displays the original description. Additionally, Josh has not taken down promotional content for “The Flip Off” on his personal Instagram account.
Heather and Tarek have kept quiet about Christina’s separation and any rumored adjustments to The Flip Show.
In the year 2021, Tarek got married to Heather. This was three years following his divorce from Christina. They now have a one-year-old son named Tristan together.
I’ve been happily married to Tarek since 2009, and we’re proud parents of two wonderful kids. Our daughter, Taylor Reese, is now a teenage girl at thirteen years old, and our son, Brayden, is an energetic eight-year-old boy.
I had the fortune of being married to Ant Anstead, a well-known British television host, from 2018 until 2021. During our time together, we were blessed with a wonderful son named Hudson, who was born four years ago.
I became well-known alongside Tarek as we teamed up to host HGTV’s Flip Or Flop since its debut in 2013.
Despite keeping up with the show production till 2022, a bitter feud between the ex-spouses unexpectedly came to light in July 2021. They were filmed having a heated disagreement during a taping session.
During that period, according to TMZ’s reports, Tarek grew irritated when Christina suggested to him and certain production team members that they should continue shooting.
Something triggered him, leading him to reportedly yell at his ex-wife, labeling her as a “worn-out failure.”
He likewise drew Heather, who is now his spouse, into the dispute by speaking disrespectfully about Christina and allegedly boasting that his forthcoming spouse was wealthier and more alluring than her.
I’ve been following Tarek El Moussa’s story closely, and according to my trusted insiders, there was tension between him and Christina before their public argument. Before the blowup, Christina had confided in someone that she had tried smoking hallucinogenic toad venom with Josh. This revelation reportedly upset Tarek deeply.
Soon after fight, it was announced that Flip Or Flop’s 10th season would be its last.
News of Christina’s divorce — her third in less than 10 years — was reported by TMZ on Tuesday.
Based on reports, Christina and Josh filed for divorce on July 16, mentioning irreconcilable differences as the reason.
The stars of “Christina in the Country” from TV reportedly filed their documents for the divorce papers in Orange County, California. According to them, July 8 marked the beginning of their separation.
According to the report, Josh seeks financial support from Christina in the form of alimony but wishes to keep his own funds.
It was additionally argued that Joshua requested the court to distribute their separate property prior to marriage.
The reality TV stars wed in October 2021 and have no children together.
