MOUZ lock in Spinx — but his debut won’t come until after IEM Katowice
Spinx won’t link up with MOUZ until after the Polish tournament.
Following the unexpected removal of their in-game leader, Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek, MOUZ has successfully recruited Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, a CS:GO Major Champion and skilled rifleman, to fill the vacancy.
Although he’ll join us today, our team won’t have him playing until after MOUZ’s upcoming top-tier tournament at IEM Katowice, because of roster lock rules. As a result, we’ll temporarily rely on an academy player as his substitute.
Spinx in as Brollan takes MOUZ captaincy for Katowice
MOUZ revealed that they had recruited Spinx on January 23, a move made just hours after they unexpectedly parted ways with siuhy. Spinx had been sitting out at the beginning of 2025 for Vitality, as he opted to leave the team prior to BLAST Bounty.
The Israeli player’s resume is filled with top-tier victories achieved with Vitality, such as the BLAST Paris Major, 2023’s BLAST Fall, World Finals, and IEM Rio. Notably, Spinx played a significant role in Vitality’s victory at IEM Cologne, an event where he was initially not expected to play since he had requested his release.
Today, Spinx announced on Twitter that he is embarking on a fresh phase within MOUZ. He expressed his eagerness to team up with the other members and can’t wait to play alongside them.
In 2023, Spinx ranked fifth among HLTV’s top 20 and has consistently appeared on this prestigious list for three consecutive years. However, in 2025, he hasn’t played an official game yet. Once he joins MOUZ, there are predictions that he will fill the role previously held by Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin, as he moves into the In-Game Leader (IGL) position.
Spinx won’t don the MOUZ colors until a few weeks from now, regrettably. Since Valve’s roster lock requires it, MOUZ has to bring in 16-year-old Hungarian talent Adrian “xelex” Vincze for IEM Katowice, which starts on January 29th.
Just as with siuhy, potential suitors for the skilled and experienced Polish In-Game Leader (IGL) won’t have the chance to make use of him during Katowice. This suggests that both players might first appear in their new team uniforms at PGL Cluj-Napoca in mid-February.
