GOAT Games has revealed its new dark fantasy strategy RPG, Motto Immortal, and pre-registration is now available on Android and iOS. According to the App Store, the game is scheduled to launch on January 15, 2026.

The team at Motto Immortal has created really compelling characters that will immediately grab players’ attention. The game is a dark fantasy strategy RPG where different mythologies clash, and a sinister power called Umbral Echo has corrupted the gods. You play as a Wayfarer, tasked with purifying these fallen deities and bringing harmony back to the world.

Putting the story aside, I was really captivated by the AI system – you can use text prompts to design the goddess’ appearance or even have surprisingly natural conversations with her. Plus, the card battle system seems really engaging; you create teams from five different factions, position them strategically, and then customize their abilities to win.

Even if you’re not interested in the main storyline, there’s still plenty to do! You can explore challenging roguelike dungeons, see how well you manage resources in the Old Ones trial, or participate in social activities with other players. I thought it was a good game overall, offering different ways to play with its card-based battles and various modes, though some players might not appreciate the use of AI.
