On March 25, 2025, Warner Bros. Games along with NetherRealm Studios are commemorating the 10th Anniversary of their highly engaging fighting game, Mortal Kombat Mobile, by releasing a new update. This special anniversary update will bring two thrilling characters into play, as well as free in-game goodies, and much more! So, let’s explore what awaits us!

In simpler terms, “Mortal Kombat Mobile” is a thrilling 3 versus 3 combat game situated within the Mortal Kombat universe. It showcases classic figures such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and others you might recognize. The game presents multiple engaging modes while rekindling the charm of these characters and stories from the franchise’s three-decade history.

Ever since it was launched on May 4, 2015, the game has grown its roster to accommodate approximately 175 beloved fighters from every single era of Mortal Kombat. Now, as it marks a decade of existence, it’s adding two new characters, free in-game rewards, and more to celebrate.

The 10th-anniversary update introduces MK1 Geras and Klassic Skarlet

As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my enthusiasm for the 10th Anniversary celebration coming up for Mortal Kombat Mobile! It’s incredibly thrilling to learn that two fresh faces will be joining the ranks: MK1 Geras and Klassic Skarlet. These additions are sure to enrich the roster of legendary fighters, making each battle even more intense and exciting!

You’ll be able to get both of them through the latest 10th Anniversary Kombat Pass. Additionally, you can earn the Diamond MK1 Geras by finishing the Premium Pass, and the Premium+ Pass for MK1 Geras, along with early access to Gold Klassic Skarlet that comes exclusively with these passes.

MK1 Geras

MK1 Geras, a staunch guardian devoted to Liu Kang’s new era, wields control over both time and sand. With his Sands of Time ability, you can trigger the hourglass which diminishes incoming damage and simultaneously restores the health of your team.

In simpler terms, the title “His Colliding Worlds Fatal Blow” becomes “His Deadly Time-Loop Attack,” which refers to an exciting move inspired by his well-known Mortal Kombat 1 console attack. This move enables him to hurl his opponent into a time rift, causing them harm twice.

Klassic Skarlet

In homage to her MK 11 Classic appearance, Classic Scarllet is a sorceress who wields the power of blood magic. With each conflict she engages in, her thirst for blood intensifies. Utilizing her distinctive abilities, you can siphon your adversary’s vitality, weakening them significantly, while simultaneously bolstering your own strength.

Additionally, she can boost the unblockable chance of your Basic Attacks, making her an invaluable asset to your squad, particularly for Klassic teams.

All you need to do is log in each day from April 1st through April 10th. By doing so, not only will you acquire this free character, but you’ll also uncover the fascinating origins of these characters within the Mortal Kombat Universe and discover the intriguing story of their arrival on mobile devices. So, mark your calendars and get ready to join in the celebration!

You are eligible to obtain these 10th Anniversary characters: MK11 Scorpion, Classic Noob Saibot, Sharp-clawed Mileena, Edenian Blood Kitana, God of Thunder Raiden, Lizard Jade, Master Sub-Zero, Classic Sonya Blade, Onslaught Jax Briggs, and Fire Deity Liu Kang.

Faction Wars Remaster

Get ready for an exciting experience! The popular game previously known as “Faction Wars” is now called “Realm Klash,” transforming into a full-scale “Realm vs Realm battle.” This revamped game mode, titled “Realm vs Realm War,” will be launched on March 26, 2025. The first part of the update will bring a refreshed appearance and enhanced rewards for the top players in the leaderboard.

Tower of Time Event 

The Anniversary update introduces a special event called the “Tower of Time,” which players can join until April 10, 2025. In this temporary tower, players will encounter new bosses such as MK1 Geras in a 50-level anniversary challenge. Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to obtain fresh equipment due to this event.

Introducing new Brutalities
