Mortal Kombat 1: T-1000 and Madam Bo release date

The T-1000 and Madam Bo are Mortal Kombat 1’s newest characters!

In a few weeks, the next installment of downloadable content (DLC) for Mortal Kombat 1 is set to drop. After the introduction of Conan The Barbarian, it was thought that T-1000 would be the last character in Kombat Pack 2. But, to the delight of fans, NetherRealm Studios (NRS) has thrown a curveball by also including the new Mortal Kombat 1 character, Madam Bo, into the release lineup.

Here’s what you should know about the last two characters who are going to be added to Mortal Kombat 1, for now:

1. The first character is Sheeva, a powerful and fearsome Shokan warrior and sister of Goro from Outworld. She has superhuman strength and durability and can summon earthquakes with her roar.
2. The second character is Fujin, the god of wind in Mortal Kombat’s lore. He possesses incredible speed, agility, and control over the elements, particularly air. His abilities include creating tornadoes and powerful gusts of wind to overwhelm his opponents.

T-1000 and Madam Bo Mortal Kombat 1 release date

In the game Mortal Kombat 1, the characters T-1000 and Madam Bo are set to make their appearance on March 18, available for early access through Kombat Pack 2. However, players who don’t own the Khaos Reigns DLC will need to wait until March 25 to buy these characters individually.

Who are the T-1000 and Madam Bo in Mortal Kombat 1?

As a gamer, I’ve encountered my fair share of iconic characters, but some Mortal Kombat newbies might not be familiar with the T-1000. He was the baddie in the 1991 movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800. Unlike the T-800, the T-1000 wasn’t your typical robot; he was a liquid metal Terminator, played by Robert Patrick.

The T-1000, made up of memetic polyalloy, has the ability to transform into virtually any individual or object it comes into contact with. It surpasses the T-800 in terms of performance, making it one of Skynet’s most lethal inventions. From a gameplay standpoint, a teaser trailer highlights its unique features.

1. His ability is reminiscent of the character Glacius from Killer Instinct; he can transform into a liquid metal form. Additionally, he has the power to craft hook-like weapons akin to Kabal’s. To top it off, his finishing move, or Fatality, pays homage to the truck chase scene from Terminator 2.

On March 18, the second character set introduces Madam Bo. In the game’s narrative, she represents a modernized version of Bo’ Rai Cho, known as Madam Bo. Owning the Fengjian Tea House in Mortal Kombat 1, this arena serves as her battlefield. During the story mode, she has a brief skirmish with Smoke, making her an excellent choice for a character to play as, or a Kameo.

How much will the characters cost?

The additional content for the game titled “Khaos Reigns” can be obtained individually for a cost of $49.99. Alternatively, you might opt for the Bundle deal, which encompasses Kombat Pack 1 and 2, or the Kollection, which comprises the complete Mortal Kombat 1 game along with all DLC. Many platforms often provide discounts on “Khaos Reigns”, so it’s worth checking for deals periodically.

If none of the given choices seem appealing, you’ll find that the T-1000 and Madam Bo are priced at $7.99 and $4.99 respectively. These prices represent the cost of the earlier versions of Khaos Reigns and Kombat Pack 1 Kameos.

While we don’t know what lies beyond Kombat Pack 2, we should know over the next few months.
