realfun studio has released its cozy rural life simulation game, Morikomori Life, worldwide on Android and iOS. The game first launched in China through Level Infinite, but was taken down last year. It then became available in Japan this May before today’s global release by realfun studio.

Morikomori Life is a relaxing game where you experience the charm of countryside living in the quiet village of Komori. You play as Kaon, who returns home after receiving a letter from their grandmother. Enjoy simple pleasures like farming, fishing, and cooking as you build a peaceful life.

Okay, so in this game, I get to build up my own little world! I can till the land, plant seeds, and actually grow food – which is awesome. Then I use that food to cook some seriously tasty meals. But it’s not just farming; I can also chop down trees for wood and dig for ores. Exploring is a big part of it too, because there are rare resources hidden all over the place. Plus, as I gather stuff, I can upgrade my house and make it look really cozy and unique!

Being a huge Studio Ghibli fan, I instantly fell in love with the game’s beautiful art style – it really captures that Ghibli magic! I also love how open the world is and how much detail they put into the Japanese village. It’s just so peaceful to explore.
