Morgan Wallen’s Hilarious Comeback: From SNL Walk-Off to Merch King!

On the weekend, Morgan Wallen stirred things up by trolling Saturday Night Live and countered the criticism he faced after his unexpected departure from the show with a novel commercial endeavor.

On a Saturday, the 31-year-old country artist attracted attention for his abrupt departure and disregard for a long-held custom: engaging with the cast until the end of the credits are shown.

A short while later, he shared an image of a private plane on his Instagram Story, accompanied by the caption, ‘Transport me to heaven on earth.’

After several days, he addressed the controversy and introduced a product line, featuring his catchphrase prominently on t-shirts and caps, all retailing for $45 each.

On Tuesday, the singer from You Proof posted a picture of the designs for his upcoming merchandise on his Instagram Story. This merchandise can be preordered directly from his website.

Various social media enthusiasts, such as his supporters, flocked to the platform that was once known as Twitter, expressing their feelings about his recent release by posting their responses.

Some speculated whether it was a prank for April Fool’s Day, but others praised his handling of severe criticism.

Others sometimes labeled him as a ‘con artist’ and criticized his design as ‘cheesy’ or having the appearance of something produced by an artificial intelligence system.

One individual shared a tweet, expressing their surprise that they happened to post on the first day of the month, asking if it wasn’t like an April Fool’s prank. (Informal)

One individual posted on Twitter, “Girl, that’s not cool,” expressing disapproval. Another person described his latest collection of T-shirts and hats as “cheesy” or “unoriginal.

In simpler terms, the social media user said something like, ‘That’s an excellent way to really emphasize your point, and it made me laugh!’ or ‘You really went all in there, and it was hilarious!’

Others praised him for handling the controversy effectively, as one fan put it on Twitter: “He handled it like a boss.

In light of the recent announcement and updates, a user of X took to Twitter to express their surprise with a relevant GIF showing a startled response, accompanied by a witty comeback.

He earned praise for not throwing chairs this time, alluding to a previous scandal.

There were also people accusing him of trying to make money off the controversy.

Some folks labeled him as a “strategist” and suggested that his sudden departure was a calculated publicity move intended to boost the sales of his merchandise.

Additionally, some social media users poked fun at the design, with a few suggesting it resembled the logo of the Coors beer brand or potentially violated Blake Shelton’s song title.

‘No one is buying that,’ several people tweeted.

These events transpired following the backlash that ensued after Wallen performed as a musical guest alongside the award-winning actress Mikey Madison, who was hosting the show over the weekend.

After his quick exit, he seemingly headed straight to the airport to return to the Midwest.

He took a picture of a jet parked on the runway, captured through his plane’s window, and crafted a thought-provoking caption to share with his 8.3 million fans.

He penned, on Saturday before his departure from New York City following his performance, “Direct me to the land of God.

Notably, Wallen reappeared on the renowned comedy series after the controversial N-word incident.

He debuted two new songs off of his upcoming album, I’m The Problem.

On social media, criticism arose towards the country singer regarding his performance. However, during the final taping of the legendary comedy show over the weekend, his behavior, perceived as rude by some, led to further disappointment among his fans.

Following that incident, it’s been reported by a member of his team that Wallen actually enjoyed the show and didn’t intend to offend anyone with his sudden departure and social media post.

This situation arises because the celebrity, who is known for stirring controversy, has encountered legal issues and been involved in multiple scandals. Some of these incidents include using a racial slur (the N-word) and throwing a chair from a rooftop during two separate intoxicated episodes.

Following several scandals, the country music artist known for stirring up controversy returned to the program for his second appearance after making his debut in 2020.

4 years back, due to an incident where he was filmed using a racial slur (the N-word) while intoxicated outside his residence in February 2021, he paused his professional advancement temporarily.

The debate over the use of a racially charged term involving Wallen sparked widespread criticism, yet instead of turning away, his supporters reacted by playing his music even more frequently. As a result, there was a staggering 500% surge in streaming figures for the artist.
