Morgan Wallen won’t submit No. 1 album ‘I’m the Problem’ for Grammy consideration

At the upcoming Grammys next year, it’s expected that an acclaimed Morgan Wallen album won’t win any trophies once again.

The hugely popular star of country music chose not to put forward his hit album “I’m the Problem” for Grammy nomination, as per reports from Hits Daily Double and Billboard, who initially broke the news. This LP, which includes hits such as “Love Somebody” and “What I Want,” shot to No. 1 on the charts in May and has been sitting atop the Billboard 200 album charts for 11 weeks and counting.

Wallen chose not to provide an explanation for his decision against submitting the LP. Despite being the most prominent modern artist in a rapidly growing musical genre, Wallen has consistently faced controversies with Grammy voters.

This incident led to a temporary boycott by the music industry. In 2024, he admitted guilt for a misdemeanor after an incident where he hurled a chair from a rooftop bar in Nashville.

He previously posted on social media that he had contacted the police in Nashville, his family, and the management of Chief’s. He acknowledged that his actions were not something he was proud of, and took responsibility for them. More recently, he made headlines due to a heated departure from a ‘Saturday Night Live’ recording.

Notably, Wallen’s past nominations were limited to his collaboration with Post Malone on “I Had Some Help.
