The highly anticipated second season of Paradise, the captivating mystery thriller featuring Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden, is coming to the UK soon. A new trailer has just been released, giving fans a glimpse of what’s in store.
The Disney+ series is set in a massive underground bunker built after a worldwide disaster. The story centers on Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, who is investigating the President’s death.
The political thriller was quickly renewed for a second season after its successful launch in January. You’ll be able to stream the new season on Disney+ in the UK starting February 23, 2026.

The latest preview shows Xavier in danger as he searches for his wife, and introduces new cast member Shailene Woodley. The clip ends with suggestions that there’s more to discover about the mysterious underground bunker.
Season two follows Xavier as he searches for Teri and discovers how people have been living since the catastrophic event known as ‘The Day.’ Meanwhile, inside the supposedly safe haven of Paradise, tensions rise and the community struggles with the consequences of what happened, while also learning surprising truths about the city’s history.

So, besides the three actors I already mentioned, the game Paradise also has Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans in the cast. It’s a pretty awesome group!
The thriller, created by Dan Fogelman, has received critical praise and earned four nominations at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, including one for Best Drama Series. The first season currently holds an 86% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 80 reviews.
Empire Magazine gave this captivating, though outlandish, murder mystery three stars, calling it a bold and surprising story. Don’t assume you’ve figured it out – it’s much more than meets the eye.

According to The Times, the show Paradise creates a feeling of being manipulated, as if you’re discovering crucial details bit by bit, like carefully timed reveals.
Viewers on IMDb have given the series a strong rating of 7.9 out of 10, based on over 56,000 reviews. Many fans appreciate its engaging story and carefully created mood, with one reviewer calling it “captivating” and “well-crafted.”
Paradise returns to Disney+ on 23 February 2026.
