Monster Walk turns your daily steps into an RPG experience, starts early access in select regions

Story Highlights

  • Monster Walk lets you collect creatures and build bases by walking in real life.
  • Made for Gen Z, the game doesn’t include GPS, tracking, and competition, letting you walk and play your way.
  • The game features unique creatures with their own personalities, hidden treasures, structures, daily walk encouragement, and more.

Greetings! The game studio, affectionately known as Talofa Games, has started an early access period for their upcoming monster-collecting role-playing game titled “Monster Walk”. This exciting adventure is now ready to download on Android and iOS devices in countries such as the UK, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, and Denmark. This is their second title, with a broader release including the US and more regions scheduled later in 2022.

Explore, connect, and build through mindful movement

In “Monster Walk,” you embark on a role-playing adventure where you construct bases, gather monsters, and delve into an engaging universe. Here, you design dwellings for enigmatic beasts, foster friendships, and amass resources just by taking steps in reality.

Although it primarily encourages walking, this game doesn’t function as a fitness tracker. Unlike other apps, it doesn’t utilize GPS or collect data about you, and there are no competitive elements involved. Instead, imagine it as a fusion of Pokémon and mindfulness, inspiring you to embark on peaceful walks alongside your mystical companions. It differs significantly from Pokémon GO.

Walk into an adventure where every step uncovers treasures and battles

As you traverse the game world, you accumulate valuable resources which enable you to scavenge, acquire, develop, and build relationships with the in-game characters. It’s rather straightforward, yet I can’t wait to uncover hidden riches and engage in thrilling, high-octane confrontations!

In essence, this game appears intriguing and well-structured, offering a genuine gaming experience rather than just another fitness application. Moreover, the diverse array of creatures, each with its distinct character, adds an appealing layer to the game design, as I see it.

On July 14th, you can start playing Monster Walk in its early access version, which is now live on both Android and iOS platforms. To get the game, simply visit the Google Play Store or the App Store on your device.
