Molly-Mae Stuns in Ruffled Black Dress at the 2025 BAFTAs – You Won’t Believe Her Look!

At the 2025 EE British Academy Film Awards held at London’s Royal Festival Hall, Molly-Mae Hague unexpectedly graced the event on a Sunday.

The Love Island star, 25, has gone from finding fame on Love Island to become red carpet royalty.

With elegance, she exited the Corinthia Hotel, adorning a deep-necked black gown with ruffles, en route to the upcoming event, where she certainly turned heads.

She elegantly styled her fair hair into an updo and carried a compact handbag, adding sophistication to her attractive appearance.

Molly-Mae elevated her stature using stylish golden stilettos, exuding a lively mood as she approached the prestigious gathering.

She opted for a glowing, bronzed makeup look and had on a series of dainty silver earrings.

For a night filled with unforgettable entertainment, the EE BAFTA 2025 Awards is set to return, honoring the outstanding films of the year and the imaginative minds that breathe life into them.

Following a six-year tenure at the Royal Albert Hall, the glitzy event found a fresh venue for 2023: the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. It is here that the event plans to resume.

The EE BAFTA Film Awards encompass 25 competitive categories which are decided by BAFTA members.

The upcoming show is set to unveil thrilling changes, among them a fresh Children’s & Family Film segment designed to honor exceptional movies that resonate with both children and adults alike.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that we’re breaking a five-year tradition by introducing a brand-new film award category for the first time in half a decade! This marks the debut of a fresh EE BAFTA Film Award, a momentous occasion indeed.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that a fresh update has graced the voting process for the Outstanding British Film category! Can’t wait to cast my votes!

In the grand scheme, Thriller Conclave broke records with a total of 12 nominations in all categories, followed closely by Emilia Perez who garnered 11, and The Brutalist securing 9.

At home now, the film “Conclave” has received double the number of nominations for awards at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) compared to what it received at the Golden Globe Awards held in Los Angeles last month.

The gripping drama featuring Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, and Isabella Rossellini revolves around a clandestine and tense election for a new Pope, during which political power, personal ambitions, and hidden secrets come to a head amongst rival cardinals.

In a surprising turn of events, it surpassed the Golden Globe’s top winner, the Spanish drama “Emilia Perez,” which garnered the second most BAFTA nominations with 11, having previously won 10 awards at the U.S. award ceremony.

In a repeat of last year’s disappointment, Gladiator 2 has once more been overlooked by award panels, missing out on the category for Best Film. Similarly, the talented Irish actor, Paul Mescal, age 28, did not make the BAFTA longlist for Best Actor.

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the esteemed Demi Moore, at 62, has been honored with her inaugural acting recognition at the Globes for her exceptional performance in Substance. Now, she finds herself nominated alongside the remarkable Cynthia Erivo from Wicked, and the talented Saoirse Ronan, both in the Leading Actress category for the upcoming Outrun awards.

As a lifestyle expert, I can confidently say that receiving a nomination for the BAFTAs by the enigmatic actress from “Ghost” significantly boosts her chances of claiming her first Oscar.

In the BAFTA nominations, Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin from Succession are set to compete against each other for the category of Best Supporting Actor. Their notable performances can be seen in A Real Pain and the film portraying Trump’s life, titled The Apprentice.

Simultaneously, Adrien Brody’s movie “The Brutalist” has earned nine BAFTA nominations, while “Dune 2” and “Wicked” have each received seven nominations.

In the EE BAFTA Rising Star Award category, Marisa Abela takes the front-runner position for her role as Amy Winehouse in the movie “Back To Black,” released in 2024.

The list revealed on Tuesday consists of Marisa, Jharrel Jerome (known for Unstoppable), David Jonsson (from Alien: Romulus), Mikey Madison (starring in Anora) and Nabhaan Rizwan (recognized from In Camera).

Coincidentally, David, Nabhaan and Marisa were all stars of BBC drama Industry.

Sara Putt, the head of BAFTA, expressed to the Press Association news agency that this year’s BAFTA nominations display an exceptional range and diversity.

She noted: “Moreover, if you examine the top 10 movies under ‘Best Film’, it appears that we have six distinct movie genres represented.

In a variety of genres, such as science fiction, comedy, thriller, and even music, your options are plentiful. Remarkably, in the horror category, classics like Nosferatu, The Substance, and Heretic have all been recognized with nominations.

Did you notice the diverse collection of movies we have, ranging from ‘Wicked’ to ‘Kneecap’? The variety in this list is truly impressive and makes it quite thrilling.

Winning this award is often considered a stepping stone towards achieving A-list stardom, with past recipients such as Tom Holland, James McAvoy, Tom Hardy, Lashana Lynch, and Kristen Stewart being among its distinguished alumni.

David Tennant will take to the stage to host the BAFTAs for a second year in a row.

The actor, 53, first hosted the awards show last year, taking over from Richard E Grant.

As a devoted admirer, I have no doubt that he’ll continue to captivate us with his charm and wit, having already left a lasting impression with an exceptionally successful debut, which was viewed by more than 3.8 million people from the comfort of their homes.

Over 20 million times, people watched highlights from the ceremony on various social media platforms as they stayed current with the event.

This year, it’s unlikely that Prince William, currently serving as the president of BAFTA, will be joined by his wife Catherine on the red carpet, as they may not be attending the upcoming ceremony.

Last year, it was Kate who couldn’t attend the awards weeks prior, as she disclosed in a video message on March 22 that she had been diagnosed with cancer. On the other hand, Prince William graced the red carpet by himself at the Baftas.

The 2025 EE Bafta Film Awards will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 7pm on Sunday February 16.
