Molly-Mae Hague’s sibling, Zoe Rae, has dismissed the criticism she faced for departing from a Bali vacation in only two days due to it not meeting her standards.

The popular fitness personality, aged 28, generated widespread attention when her followers made fun of her for cancelling their joint vacation to Indonesia with partner Danny during their anniversary.

In contrast to their luxurious ocean-facing suite at the Radisson Blu, a renowned five-star accommodation, they chose to depart prematurely, opting for a flight to Dubai. They shared that Bali, in reality, doesn’t live up to its social media hype and appears more appealing online.

On Tuesday, Zoe chose not to address the comments left on her posts, but rather showcased aspects of her lavish life to her 645k Instagram followers instead.

After departing from the Army Medical Corps in 2023, Zoe transitioned into the field of influence, much like her renowned younger sibling did.

Previously gracing the cover of Women’s Fitness magazine, she currently dedicates her time to health and fitness pursuits, amassing an impressive 16.2 million likes on TikTok.

On Tuesday, Zoe began her daily Instagram Stories with a peek at her 6 am Pilates class on the reformer machine. She took a reflective selfie in front of the mirror before diving into the workout, humorously admitting that her two-week vacation had left her feeling quite humbled.

Following that, the influencer had an exhilarating photo session, where she posted backstage images and videos from a campaign collaboration with the bodybuilding supplement company, Myprotein.

On the film set, Zoe confidently displayed her athletic physique, clad in a white sports bra and cycling shorts, while demonstrating her dance routines.

Afterward, she subtly mentioned the social media criticism when expressing gratitude towards her team, posting a photo of customized champagne and an ornamental cookie while expressing joy: ‘I’ll never forget days like today. It feels so unreal… I’m thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful people.’

Zoe frequently appears alongside her fitness enthusiast spouse Danny in her sister’s YouTube videos, and she also manages her own YouTube channel. In 2023, she secured a lucrative contract worth five figures with the fashion brand, PrettyLittleThing, mirroring the path her sister had taken before her.

At the age of 22, Zoe enlisted in the British Army Medical Corps. It was here where she met her future spouse. However, after serving for five years, she decided to leave, expressing on her YouTube channel that joining the army wasn’t part of her initial plans or aspirations during her school days.

I wouldn’t describe myself as exceptionally fortunate. I spent five years serving in the military, but the unit I was assigned to didn’t align with my preferences… The experiences I’ve had there are far beyond what one might encounter in an ordinary job, and I can’t help but wish things had turned out differently for me.

Following Molly-Mae’s appearance on Love Island, Zoe disclosed that she was offered an opportunity to collaborate with her sister on her ventures and receive compensation for it.

In their latest YouTube video, Zoe shared that since arriving in Bali, things didn’t feel entirely normal for them.

Upon arriving, our anticipation was high, as we’d heard through social media that the experience was delightful for many. Delightful restaurants, beaches, gyms, and coffee shops were all on the agenda.

I believe that Bali’s authentic essence isn’t portrayed very often, and I suspect this might be due to many influencers focusing on the high-end aspects.

She mentioned: “Prior to enlisting in the military, I took a five-month journey through South East Asia. I visited Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong, and experienced quite a bit in each of those countries. However, there’s something uniquely distinct about Bali.

We were told that Uluwatu, where we currently are, is one of the top spots to visit. If this is one of the best locations, I’m curious about what the other great places might be like.

‘I wasn’t going to sit down and say anything, but people want to know.’

I hopped onto the video call and expressed, “Either you’re seeking a journey to immerse in different cultures or you prefer a getaway for tranquility.

Zoe added: “Indeed, we had the option of a flight tomorrow since today marks our anniversary. However, time is valuable, so we prefer to leave immediately rather than postpone it.

It appears that we may have fallen short, potentially due to insufficient self-research or perhaps our own oversight. However, I did conduct extensive research on the topic.

‘We believe it boils down to individual taste, and in this case, it didn’t appeal to us. As a result, we’re taking charge and deciding to spend our anniversary at a place where we feel comfortable, can unwind, and even drink the water without worry.’
