Molly-Mae Hague’s sister Zoe reveals she left Bali after just 48 HOURS because it wasn’t ‘how influencers made it look on social media’ as she jets to Dubai with husband instead

Molly-Mae Hague’s sibling Zoe Rae disclosed that she departed from Bali following a mere 48 hours, and instead flew to Dubai, since it fell short of her anticipated experience.

To mark their first wedding anniversary, the fitness influencer, aged 28, along with her spouse Danny, had arranged a getaway to the beautiful islands of Indonesia.

However, Zoe clarified that Bali appeared quite distinct from its portrayal on social media, with influencers painting a more opulent image of the place.

Ever since touching down in magical Bali, I’ve been feeling off-kilter. Something about this paradise just isn’t sitting right with me!

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I eagerly arrived, fueled by the tantalizing glimpses of blissful experiences shared across social media. The promise of delightful eateries, pristine beaches, state-of-the-art fitness centers, and cozy coffee shops had me brimming with anticipation.

However, I feel that the authentic essence of Bali isn’t depicted as much, and I believe this may be due to many influencers focusing on the high-end, luxurious aspects.

In her statement, she mentioned that prior to enlisting in the military, she embarked on a five-month journey through South East Asia, visiting Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong. She experienced a lot during this time and spent significant periods in these countries. However, she found something uniquely distinct about Bali.

It was suggested that Uluwatu, our current location, is among the top destinations to visit. If this place is one of the top ones, I’m unsure where the other excellent spots might be located.

‘I wasn’t going to sit and say anything but people want to know.’

Later, Danny entered the video and expressed: ‘Either you’re seeking a vacation for exploration and cultural immersion, or you prefer it as a chance to unwind.’

Zoe added: “Indeed, we could’ve booked a flight for tomorrow since it’s our anniversary, but time is valuable, and we can’t wait any longer. Let’s make the most of it right away.

It appears that we may have fallen short, possibly due to insufficient self-research or personal oversight. However, I have conducted extensive research on the topic.

‘We believe it comes down to personal taste, and in this case, it didn’t seem appealing for us. So, we’re taking charge and deciding to celebrate our anniversary at a place we adore, where we can unwind and drink safely.’

It’s quite astonishing that you visited this region, given its reputation. While the high-end resorts are Instagram-worthy, the reality is that much of the area is still underdeveloped, with many residents living in poverty.

I’m really sorry to hear that you didn’t have a great time in Bali, as it’s an enchanting destination filled with wonderful people. However, it’s important to remember that despite its magic, Bali is a developing country and may not live up to the standards of places like Dubai. I hope you enjoy your time in Dubai instead!

Could you please tell me specifically what aspects you found disappointing? It seemed like you didn’t elaborate much. I visited that place last year, and I absolutely adored it!

Others concurred with Zoe, stating: After recently returning from backpacking through Australia, Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, I wholeheartedly concur with the Instagram versus reality in Bali! We attempted to enjoy it as fully as we could, but it is undeniably depicted much differently by influencers.

What’s the reason behind all this negativity? Not everyone finds Bali to their liking, so they visit and dislike it. Why spend resources on a place that doesn’t bring joy?

Zoe later shared a photo dump on Instagram, showcasing her lavish Dubai trip after leaving Bali.

During the off-peak month of July, the pair opted for a stay at Atlantis The Royal, where nightly rates began roughly at 290 pounds per room.

Zoe posted on Instagram: “Danny gave me an incredible surprise at Atlantis The Royal, I just can’t get over it!!!

1. “Traveling during this season proved beneficial because the prices were significantly lower! It’s ideal for a unique event like this.”

2. “Visiting at this time worked out great, as the costs were much more affordable! It’s an excellent choice for a special celebration.”

3. “Going now turned out to be advantageous since everything was less expensive! It’s perfect for commemorating a special event.”

4. “Traveling during this period was a smart decision as the expenses were reduced greatly! Ideal for a distinctive occasion such as this.”

5. “Visiting at this season turned out to be cost-effective, and it happens to be ideal for a memorable event like this.”

Ever since Zoe shared a sneak peek of her unfortunate Botox experience on her latest Story post, I can’t help but feel on edge, like a puppy waiting for its favorite treat. It’s got me glued to my screen, eagerly awaiting any new updates from the queen herself!

Initially, the influencer found one of her eyes only partly open due to an intense response to Botox treatment in February. She shared with her followers that she felt deeply saddened by the appearance of her face.

A mere few months had passed, yet she found herself returning once more, this time to deepen those wrinkle lines on her forehead – a promise not to revisit this place seemingly forgotten. Alas, Zoe’s experience with Botox this time around was far from ideal, describing it as even more grueling than the last encounter.

The star’s eye continues to hang lower than the other, yet again, but on Wednesday, she comforted her fans by saying it is showing signs of improvement.

She shared an update on her recovering eye, saying: ‘EYE PROGRESS. It’s still not perfect, but WOW, it’s significantly improved!!! Three weeks after the event, I’m genuinely satisfied with how far it’s come!’

On a flight, Zoe disclosed that she had been harshly ridiculed about her recently poorly done Botox, leading to a heated argument.

During a recent journey to Portugal with a companion, Zoe found herself involved in an unpleasant altercation with a rather impolite fellow traveler on the plane.

Wearing sunglasses casually on her YouTube channel to conceal an unfortunate incident, she shared: ‘Upon landing in Portugal, I encountered an incredibly distressing situation.’

We stood in line, and another one passed by us. There was an unpleasant woman nearby; it’s possible she had been drinking, though I didn’t confirm it.

In a more polite phrasing, the conversation could be rephrased as:

“She was attempting to move ahead of me, and she exclaimed, ‘What are you doing standing still?’ To which I responded, ‘Why did you use such harsh language towards me?’

As I found myself in an unusual situation, I explained to my husband, “It seems something has confused your wife without any real cause on my part.” After a brief exchange, he responded rather rudely, “Get your act together, you fool!

‘But I actually agreed, I thought fair enough. I do need to sort it out.’

Towards the end of the video, Zoe raised her sunglasses to show that her eye was still noticeably drooping several weeks following her most recent operation.

She experiences an uncommon complication known as ptosis, where Botox migrates past the targeted injection site and affects the muscles responsible for lifting parts like the eyelid or brow, leading them to droop or sag.

In her most recent video, Zoe shared with her audience that she underwent botox treatment which unfortunately resulted in ptosis. She revealed that this unfortunate incident has occurred to her before, making it the second time it’s happened.

People have been asking me, “Why are you returning to the same spot again?” To which I respond, “I chose to do so because it was where I got married, and she has proven herself trustworthy on numerous occasions.

She is thoroughly competent; would I go to an unqualified person on a street corner? Absolutely not.

‘We don’t know why it’s happened again and that’s that, we’ve just got to ride the wave.’

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself often revisiting the topic of aesthetic enhancements, and this time it’s personal. Like my younger sister Molly, age 26, who courageously shared her journey with facial fillers and Botox in her Amazon docuseries, I too am considering another round of Botox treatments. It’s a decision that reflects not just on my appearance, but also on the lessons learned from her journey, which resonates deeply within me.

In one episode, Molly discovered a popular meme showing her with a exaggerated pucker and sharp jawline led to a wave of online bullying, even being likened to an Xbox controller.

Since she turned sixteen, Molly resorted to using makeup and facial fillers to transform her looks. Now, she openly acknowledges that her preoccupation with striving to resemble others was an unwholesome fixation.

Molly pointed out: “You believe that wearing makeup and fillers enhances your appearance, but in reality, it seems to make it significantly worse.

At around the age of 16 or 17, I began receiving injections for facial enhancement, which led to a gradual progression. Some people have compared my appearance to an Xbox controller or Quagmire, though I’m not familiar with these references.

It seemed as though it was essential for me, but in an unhealthy way, to follow a trend on Instagram that everyone else was doing, making me feel like I belonged.

Looking at those photos, I can’t help but feel a pang of self-pity. Things seemed to spiral out of control quite rapidly. I attempted to see the positives, but in reality, they fell short. Thankfully, what I did could be undone.
