Last year, Molly-Mae Hague found herself in a tricky predicament when she was promoting the debut of her clothing line, coming soon after her breakup with partner Tommy Fury.

As a seasoned lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself in a whirlwind of excitement preparing for a series of interviews to promote my latest Maebe fashion line. However, amidst the flurry of questions about my designs, one query seemed to echo through the airwaves: “Why did our relationship with Tommy come to an end?

Molly-Mae’s interview with TopMob took place during the same week as the release of her new documentary titled “Behind It All,” which debuted on Amazon Prime Video on a Friday.

However, a fresh video indicates that Molly-Mae and her manager Francesca Britton-Lynch had planned a tactic for addressing ‘non-fashion’ queries posed by the main entertainment reporter of TopMob.

After Molly-Mae openly stated that the breakup wasn’t a publicity strategy, she acknowledged that it would have been less difficult if the painful allegations against her were actually accurate.

Due to Molly and her former fiancee, Tommy, being captured in an intense kiss during New Year’s Eve, shortly before Molly’s three-episode series premiered on Prime Video, Molly encountered criticism from fans. Some speculated that the split they had previously announced might not have been genuine.

However, Molly has candidly discussed the challenges she faced during their separation, which became a public ordeal. She admitted that the dissolution of their five-year relationship was truly genuine and deeply impactful.

Reading such comments about my work, especially when they question the authenticity behind it, truly hurts because it’s not just a marketing strategy or a stunt; it’s a part of my actual life’s journey.

Tommy and I share a beautiful new addition to our family, and its reality has never felt more profound. The last six months have been an incredibly challenging journey for us both.

I hope it’s just a marketing tactic for convenience, but unfortunately, it seems genuine. This upcoming documentary should provide answers to any doubts about it.

You get a glimpse of the truth; it feels as if you’ve been an unnoticed observer, and I believe others might find it surprising just how open and truthful we’ve been.

Following an instance where the former partners were spotted locking lips at a New Year’s Eve gathering, there are rumors swirling that Tommy and Molly might have reignited their romance. Photos even emerged of Tommy departing from Molly’s residence in Cheshire during early morning hours.

Molly acknowledges that they are trying to handle a tricky predicament, always prioritizing the wellbeing of their little one.

She mentioned: ‘We’re facing an intricate period in our lives under public scrutiny. This is uncharted ground for me. I haven’t had to handle such situations before. I strive to avoid any misunderstandings; I don’t want people to be perplexed about what transpired. We make an effort to clarify matters as much as possible. When I decided to participate in this documentary, I made it clear that I would do so completely, including the ups and downs, the good times, and the challenging ones – everything needs to be included.

Without a doubt, Molly has chosen not to share much with her substantial audience due to her regard for Tommy, the man she developed feelings for during Love Island in 2019.

On a Wednesday, Tommy confessed that he developed an addiction to alcohol after a boxing injury, which led to a significant deterioration in his mental state.

In an interview with Men’s Health, he explained that their breakup stemmed from his addiction to alcohol, which made it impossible for him to maintain the relationship and be the partner he aspired to be.

‘It pains me to admit this, but it’s the truth – I couldn’t do it. I have a deep affection for beer and enjoy drinking it, and that’s just how things are. Life can be tough for everyone, and we all have our challenges to face. I have my own burdens to carry.’

Over the last half year, a camera team has trailed Molly, recording all facets of her daily existence.

The star’s life has been documented, capturing her at her most exposed times, from when she separated with Tommy, through the start of her fashion label Maebe, and as a single mother to Bambi.

She maintains that while it significantly contributes, Behind It All presents much more than just portraying her split on television.

She said: ‘It is definitely so much more than a breakup documentary.

Clearly, we have open conversations about the split, exchange thoughts on it, and are straightforward when disclosing aspects of our separation.

This isn’t just a documentary about a breakup; it explores aspects of my life I haven’t shared before. We’re currently filming, and over the next three episodes, we delve into topics like motherhood, body positivity, managing two businesses, and juggling all that while raising a two-year-old during a breakup has been quite challenging.

As a die-hard fan, I can barely contain my excitement as Molly-Mae: Behind It All premieres with a trio of episodes hitting Prime Video this coming Friday! And to top it off, an additional set of three episodes are scheduled for release in the blooming days of spring. I simply can’t wait to delve deeper into her world!

The popular YouTuber anticipates potential criticism and backlash for certain video segments, and expects internet bullies (trolls) to leave unkind remarks on the web.

However, it’s just another challenge she’s faced before, as Molly shared that she is now prepared for people to witness the authentic woman hidden behind her perfectly curated social media images.

She mentioned that Amazon has been releasing small previews and hints, and she’s already gone through some of the comments about them.

It seems I might need to put on my resilient exterior today, as I usually do, but this morning, I’ve encountered a wide array of opinions about certain matters that have surfaced, which is quite noticeable.
