Molly-Mae Hague candidly discusses her challenges in the role of a single mom in her latest film, ‘Behind It All’, after her separation from Tommy Fury.

25-year-old influencer gave birth to a girl named Bambi in January 2023 alongside her ex-fiancé Tommy, who is also 25 years old. The pair had split up by August the previous year.

After the unexpected split, Molly-Mae has been juggling life between shared parenting duties with Bambi, who’s now 23 months old, and her demanding profession that recently saw the debut of her initial clothing line, Maebe.

In an open and honest scene from her six-episode series, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video last Friday, Molly-Mae appears to grapple with her feelings as she journeys through life apart from Tommy.

She too ponders over her past experiences as a mother, contemplating if becoming a parent impacted her ability to pursue fresh career ventures, wondering if it somehow limited those opportunities.

According to her manager, Francesca Britton, she’s put in a great deal of effort into establishing this brand, with Tommy always supporting her along the way. Now, however, she finds herself going it alone, managing things independently while also sharing parental responsibilities.

‘The upcoming months might prove quite challenging. Regrettably, life often doesn’t follow our planned course.’

In this particular installment, I find myself feeling somewhat exasperated, much like Molly-Mae, as I wait for baby ballet clips from Tommy over our FaceTime calls. Meanwhile, a touching moment unfolds when Bambi sheds tears while I’m preparing her lunch – an emotional rollercoaster indeed!

As a lifestyle expert, I found myself feeling a tad impatient, just like Molly-Mae, when Tommy failed to send those adorable baby ballet videos over FaceTime. Simultaneously, my heartstrings were tugged as Bambi cried during lunchtime – quite an emotional day!

Speaking candidly about motherhood, Molly-Mae expresses: ‘Becoming a mom is truly wonderful, and as my little one, Bambi, continues to grow, I find myself growing fonder of this role day by day.’

Initially, there was a great deal to absorb and maneuver through. Transitioning from a lifestyle that afforded me the freedom to live each day as I wished, to one where I no longer had control over my own life happened unexpectedly and all at once.

Is it possible that I’ve jeopardized my ability to engage in work or other activities beyond caring for this child?

Afterward, the star remarked: ‘Now I believe I wouldn’t alter a thing from the last five years, as we have her, and I am incredibly thankful.’

After Molly-Mae confessed that she initially didn’t take pleasure in motherhood, she expressed her readiness to share more about her life in her forthcoming documentary, inviting others to join her journey.

Talking about Bambi’s first month, when Tommy was off at a boxing training camp, she shared with Grazia: “I often found myself contemplating, ‘This isn’t what I envisioned,’ and I struggled to understand why things seemed different for me compared to others. It felt like my experience was unique in some way.

Initially, I wasn’t finding pleasure in it, but over time, I seem to have gotten more comfortable with it. Now, I truly cherish being a mother.

The stunning brunette also mentioned her sense of accomplishment regarding the work she and Tommy have put into caring for their young child, stating they should be very proud.

In late August, prior to when Molly-Mae and Tommy officially separated, she expressed that she was managing on her own as a single parent and finding it challenging.

In an open and honest video shared online, the Love Island celebrity asserted that for several weeks, she single-handedly cared for their child Bambi, as her partner was away at work and not present in the family residence.

In the video, she mentioned that she’s been singlehandedly taking care of things for around two weeks due to Tommy being extremely occupied.

When he returns from his work and various tasks, he is incredibly helpful and wonderful. Frankly, I can’t express it any other way – he’s an exceptional father. However, this week has been particularly challenging as I’ve been juggling the demands of motherhood (often referred to as ‘mum life’). At the moment, I’m finding things a bit tough.

In her latest series, the ex-Love Island contestant (who faced a hidden health challenge during her stay) expressed: ‘Truthfully, it’s the prospect and thought of reuniting with Tommy that keeps me going. I yearn for our relationship to succeed.’

In the documentary, Molly (who has been keeping quiet regarding their recent separation) responded to her New Year’s Eve kiss with her former fiancé, Tommy. This action sparked speculation among fans that the split might have been orchestrated for publicity purposes.

 Her manager Fran called her, explaining: ‘Oh my god it has come out right this second.’ 

Molly buried her face in her palms, exclaiming, “Oh no, oh my goodness! It can’t be… I just learned that Molly-Mae and Tommy shared a kiss on New Year’s Eve. That’s just awful.

Previously on the show, I shared that I can’t predict what lies ahead for us. It wouldn’t be truthful of me to claim that my feelings towards you vanished instantaneously.

On a Wednesday, Tom, age 25, shared a heartfelt conversation in an interview with Men’s Health. This talk, strategically scheduled prior to Molly-Mae’s documentary release, marked the first public disclosure of Tom’s personal struggle with alcohol and his open admission that his mental health had reached a critical point.

In the midst of speculation that their August 2024 split might have been a publicity tactic, Tommy openly discussed his struggles with mental health and firmly denied allegations of infidelity against Molly-Mae. He dismissed rumors about other women as nothing more than blatant lies or nonsense.

He admitted that the reason for our separation was due to his struggle with alcohol addiction, which made it impossible for him to maintain the partnership he desired.

It’s hard for me to admit this, but it’s the truth – I couldn’t do it. I adore a good pint of beer, enjoy drinking, and that’s just how things are. Everyone goes through various challenges in life, and we all have our burdens to carry. I have mine to shoulder.

In the year 2024, I found myself grappling with challenges that originated from a significant event in my life – a reconstructive surgery I underwent in January. This operation was necessitated by an incident in 2019 where I unfortunately snapped all the ligaments in my hand.

He expressed that his mental well-being was quite fragile during his recuperation following surgery. This period followed what he considered to be the most successful year of his life, 2023, a year that not only boosted his professional career but also saw his relationship with Molly thrive significantly.
