Molly-Mae recently announced on Instagram that she’ll be spending Christmas away from her family for the first time.

The former Love Island contestant shared that she and her two-year-old daughter will be celebrating the day with her partner Tommy’s family, instead of her usual tradition of spending it with her own parents.

Molly-Mae revealed her Christmas Day plans during a question-and-answer session with her fans, responding to a question about how she’d be spending the holiday.

She shared a photo of her huge Christmas tree and explained she was celebrating with Tommy’s family in their new home.

This Christmas will be really different – it’s the first time I won’t be with my family, and honestly, it’s a little heartbreaking. But Zoe and Danny just got a new place, and my Nana is 90 and just isn’t up to the trip to Manchester anymore. It’s a bit sad, but it just feels like things naturally led to this, and I’ll be with people I love.

Molly said she was excited to make lunch, and then joked that Bambi had been challenging lately, behaving like a typical teenager.

Apparently, she and Tommy had to go to the hospital, and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what happened. Thankfully, she said Bambi’s doing better, and I’m just breathing a huge sigh of relief! I’m seriously obsessed with their family and just want them all to be happy and healthy!

She shared that her daughter had been diagnosed with croup, and boxer Tommy had a cold. Both had recently been to the hospital earlier this month.

Croup is a typical viral infection in children that causes a cough that sounds like a barking seal, a raspy voice, and a high-pitched whistling sound when they breathe.

It is often worsened at night, with cold-like symptoms initially, according to the NHS.

Although Bambi will be recovering in bed for a week, Molly-Mae has also announced she’s been affected by the recent cold weather.

She posted a picture of her daughter, Bambi, in pajamas next to the Christmas tree, explaining that Bambi has croup.

She’s really not feeling well – this is the worst she’s been in a long time. It’s been a week of everyone getting sick, starting with her dad, then her child, and now her. She’s so achy that even the slightest touch hurts. What a winter!

In a recent YouTube video, Molly shared that Bambi became very sick, experiencing a high temperature, shaking, and crying in her sleep. This prompted Molly to immediately take her to the doctor.

She explained: ‘My nails summarise how this week has gone…hanging on by a thread.’

Speaking about the difficult experience, she explained that while she had mentioned Bambi was sick, they had actually spent the morning at the hospital.

‘Life happens. How do people vlog every day? You can’t show every day, it’s not realistic.’

Molly noticed Tommy started feeling sick before she did. They initially thought it was just a stomach bug or something he ate, but when he refused to eat or drink anything, she began to worry.

She said Tommy started feeling sick about nine days ago, and they initially thought it was food poisoning or a stomach bug. However, he still hasn’t recovered.

He was terribly ill last night, to the point where he thought he was dying in the bathroom. It was a very difficult and unpleasant experience.

Honestly, it’s been heartbreaking to watch. It was a truly awful experience for him, and I just feel terrible that he’s struggling so much – he can’t even keep anything down, whether it’s food or drink. It’s really distressing to see him like this.

‘He’s fine within himself, but when he’s eating and drinking, he’s just ill, it’s so bizarre.’
