Molly-Mae Hague admits she perhaps should have ‘waited a few years’ before starting a family and now feels ‘pressure’ to give daughter Bambi a sibling

Molly-Mae Hague has shared that she might have started a family a little too soon and now feels pressured to have another child for her daughter, Bambi.

The 26-year-old TV star and her boyfriend, boxer Tommy Fury, also 26, have a two-year-old daughter named Bambi. They first met on the reality show Love Island in 2019.

Molly shared with Cosmopolitan that she felt prepared to become a mother in her early twenties, explaining that she’d already experienced a lot of life by 23 and was eager to start a new phase.

Being with Tommy in such an amazing location, and creating something that represented both of us equally, felt truly meaningful.

I don’t regret having children at a young age. However, if I could relive things, I might consider waiting a little longer – it’s something I’d think about.

The actress mentioned she’d really appreciate having more days where she could simply relax and do nothing, as she finds it very beneficial for her well-being.

She shared that she often thinks about having another child and feels quite a bit of pressure to do so, as she wants her daughter, Bambi, to have a brother or sister.

As someone who’s always valued family, I often think about my incredible relationship with my sister, Zoe. Honestly, my life wouldn’t be what it is today without her support and love. Seeing Bambi and her sister reminds me of that special bond, and I truly hope they share a lifetime of closeness too.

She emphasized that she wouldn’t have another child simply to please someone else, explaining that she’d only want one because it’s a personal desire.

Oh my gosh, Molly was SO real talking about how hard being a mom is! And she just glowed when she talked about Bambi being a little toddler now. It was the sweetest thing ever, honestly. I’m completely obsessed with them!

She admitted she much prefers toddlers to babies, enjoying how much they can communicate, laugh, and understand.

The actress said her daughter is very strong-willed and knows what she wants, adding that she can sometimes be deliberately challenging.

Yet, Molly said she loves that about Bambi, because she is ‘strong’ and ‘knows her mind.’

Molly is discussing a funny incident that recently went viral: her daughter, Bambi, jokingly ‘planned’ to bite her stuffed animals, Emily and Dory. This interview follows the online reaction to that story.

Last month, the influencer received criticism online, often called ‘mum-shaming,’ with some people claiming she was too lenient in how she parents her two-year-old daughter.

Molly recently shared photos on Instagram giving a glimpse into her current life, which includes luxurious experiences like private jet travel, trips to Paris, and time spent with her daughter, Bambi, and partner, Tommy.

What really got people talking, though, was a photo of three cans of Heinz baked beans – each one had a different name on the label: Bambi, Emily, and Dory. They were specially made with those names printed on them.

People flooded the comments section with reactions, many focusing on the Heinz beans. Common responses included expressions of strong emotion – some were moved to tears, while others found the beans hilarious and were overcome with laughter. Several commenters also praised Emily, Bambi, and Dory as iconic figures.

Oh my gosh, Bambi is just the cutest little bean, seriously! She’s such a tiny princess, and she loves to nibble! I swear, every time I see Emily’s beans, it looks like Bambi’s already gotten to them with her adorable little bites! It’s the cutest thing ever, I can’t even handle it!

I love the beans for BamBam! It’s funny – not the beans from Emily and Dory, though! These beans are hilarious; I’m dying of laughter!

This post is playfully reacting to something about beans, finding it extremely funny. They’re also praising someone named Bambi and expressing amusement overall.

Last month, a YouTube video sparked worry among mothers after Bambi, a former contestant on Love Island, shared a list of people she’d like to bite while talking with Molly.

Sitting on the floor of her luxurious home, Molly responded to her daughter, gently explaining, “We use our mouths for eating, not for biting, okay?”

However, it seemed Bambi wasn’t cooperating, and Emily continued, saying, ‘We bite…Emily. We bite…Dory.’

Molly laughed and said, ‘No, that’s silly! We bite all sorts of things – croissants, pasta, even pizza!’

The founder of Maebe has spoken openly about the challenges of parenthood, previously acknowledging she’s self-centered and struggles with the pressures of raising a child. She recently explained that she’s been emotionally drained by her daughter’s actions.

Later in the video, Molly said, ‘Just drawing a bath, the final thing I need to do today. Honestly, I’m completely drained.’

I got through the day okay, and I think I handled her mood much better than I used to.

After Molly posted a video to her 2.4 million followers, a clip of her talking to her toddler, Bambi, about biting quickly went viral. Many people were surprised by Bambi’s energetic behavior.
