Mobile Legends: Bang Bang continues to thrive with its esports events, as outlined in their 2025 roadmap. To further engage fans, particularly in China, a new tournament called Mobile Legends Super Cup Invitational (MSI) 2025 is being introduced. This exciting event will commence in April and will feature eight teams, running for an entire month, allowing Chinese teams to battle it out together under one roof.
Mobile Legends Super Cup Invitational (MSI) 2025: Schedule and Format
The action gets underway on the 24th of April, launching the China Qualifier phase which continues until the 27th. In total, we’ll have 8 teams split into two groups of 4 each. Half of these squads will hail from the China Professional Invitational Stage 2, while the remaining half will emerge victorious from the Open Qualifier.

The tournament’s initial phase commences on the 1st of May 2025 and concludes on the 2nd. We will divide the competition into two groups, each consisting of 4 teams. In this stage, all matches will be played according to a single round-robin system, with only one best-of-one (BO1) match per encounter.
The leading teams from every group move forward to the next stage of the competition. From May 3rd to 4th, the playoffs are scheduled to happen. During this period, matches will follow a single-elimination format. In this setup, the semi-finals will consist of best-of-five series, and the final will be a best-of-seven series.
