2025 season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY), the fifteenth season, has been announced and preparations are underway in each region. According to the 2025 roadmap, the Malaysian stage will kick off the competition. The event, featuring 10 contenders and a competitive format, is eagerly anticipated by Mobile Legends BB esports fans from around the world.

Ten teams, one goal. Each of them carries hopes, strategies, and dreams to stand atop as champions of MPL MY S15.

MPL MY Season 15: Schedule and Format

The competition will unfold over two phases. The initial phase commences on April 19th, 2025, where all participating teams will strive for the championship title. This first phase continues until May 25th, 2025.

In this stage, each team will face every other team exactly once in a single round-robin tournament format. Following this, there will be best-of-three games for the final rounds. Points ranging from zero to three can be earned by teams depending on the outcome of their matches. The top six teams will proceed to the Playoffs.

In the Playoffs, which is the second phase, it’s scheduled from May 30th to June 15th, 2025. This stage will be divided into two segments. The initial segment will run for two days, specifically from May 30th to May 31st. Following this, the second segment will occur between June 14th and June 15th.

At this round, we’ll have a mix of elimination games, known as hybrid matches. The leading two teams will directly advance to the Upper Bracket Semifinals, while the third to sixth ranked teams will start their journey in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.

Participant Teams

For this event, a grand total of 10 teams will be participating. The majority hail from the previous edition, while only two teams have joined us from different events. One team advanced from the Challenger Stage, and another earned their spot through the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Academy League Season 2.

Prize Pool

The total prize for the event is approximately $100,000 (around MYR 437,000). So far, there has been no official announcement regarding how much each team will receive. Once we get more information about the distribution and overall amount, we’ll update this article with details on each team’s potential share.
