Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has a packed schedule ahead in its esports division, as regional professional tournaments are gearing up. According to the announced 2025 roadmap, the Mobile Legends Turkiye Championship Season 5 is set to kick off in April. The event will involve 8 teams and a substantial prize money.

This competition belongs to the MTC series and is intended to be the most prestigious professional league in the area. Notably, it will be an occasion orchestrated by MOONTON Games and D-Brawl, encompassing matches that can be played online as well as in person.

MTC Turkiye Championship Season 5: Schedule and Format

The event will consist of two phases: Firstly, we’ll have the regular season, which is set to commence on April 18th, 2025. During this phase, all participants will engage in a series of matches following a Single Round Robin format, and subsequently, Best of Three (BO3) encounters.

In this competition, teams can potentially earn anywhere from no points up to three. The top six squads will qualify for the Playoffs. The Playoffs, which starts on the 10th of May 2025 and concludes on the 18th, marks the second round. All matches during this phase will be held in a double-elimination format.

In this tournament, the top four teams will begin their journey in the “Upper Bracket,” whereas the remaining two teams will start in the “Lower Bracket.” The matches during this stage can be Best of Three (BO3), Best of Five (BO5), or Best of Seven (BO7). For both the upper and lower bracket finals, the format will be Best of Five (BO5). However, the ultimate showdown, known as the “Grand Finals,” will follow a Best of Seven (BO7) format.

Eight teams have been selected for the competition, with six receiving direct invitations and the remaining two earning their spot through a Closed Qualifier. As of now, the specific teams that have been granted direct entry haven’t been made public yet. Here’s a sneak peek at the participating teams for the tournament:

Prize Pool

At this event, there’s a substantial reward of approximately 1,000,000 Turkish Liras (equivalent to about $26,500 USD), up for grabs. The teams’ final positions will determine their respective rewards. Notably, the victorious team won’t just pocket the largest portion of the prize money but also clinch a direct qualification for the Mid-Season Cup 2025, which is scheduled for July.
