Now that the M7 World Championship has concluded, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is looking ahead to the 2026 esports season and has revealed its plans for the year. The next major events will be the professional league tournaments, and the Mobile Legends MPL PH Season 17 is about to begin. This tournament will be held in person, featuring the best teams in the Philippines competing for a chance to qualify for the MSC 2026.
Mobile Legends MPL PH Season 17: Schedule and Format
The esports tournament will use the same franchise system for its tenth season in a row. It starts in March and lasts until June. While the specific schedule and format haven’t been announced yet, it’s likely to be similar to past seasons, as the franchise system is continuing unchanged.
We plan to explore sharing event data later on. Previously, the event used a two-part format: teams first competed in a regular season, and then the top performers advanced to a playoff bracket to decide the overall winner.
Participating Teams
The Philippines is a hugely popular and active hub for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The game has a massive following there, and teams are incredibly driven to succeed. While the current champions, Team Liquid PH, will be aiming to defend their title, they’ll face tough competition from other strong contenders.
