Get ready for more action in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang! Season 9 of MPL MENA is starting on April 10th, 2026. Eight teams will compete in this popular MOBA game from MOONTON Games for a share of the prize money, and a chance to qualify for a major global tournament in Saudi Arabia.
MPL MENA Season 9: Schedule and Format
The competition begins on April 10th, 2026, and will continue until May 23rd, 2026. While the specific details haven’t been revealed, it’s expected to be similar to the last event. It will feature a regular season where each team plays every other team once, followed by best-of-three matches.
A team receives three points for a 2-0 win. If the score is 2-1, the winning team gets two points and the losing team receives one. The six highest-ranking teams will move on to the Playoffs, which will then feature those qualified teams competing further.
The playoff format will be the same as last year. Teams seeded third through sixth will play in the first round, while the top two teams will automatically advance to the second round.
Okay, so most matches are best-of-three, but the lower bracket final will be a bit longer – best-of-five. And the Grand Final? That’s best-of-seven! Though, honestly, things could shift a little depending on how qualifying actually goes down.
