Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is set to launch its Season 7 of MPL MENA (Middle East and North Africa). This highly-anticipated MOBA game from MOONTON Games will kick off the newest regional tournament with several tough competitors vying for a substantial prize money.

According to the 2025 esports plan for MLBB, regional professional leagues are happening as planned. For instance, the MPL MENA Season 7 is approaching quickly, and as the event gets closer, the competition will become more intense and exciting throughout its duration.

MPL MENA Season 7: Schedule and Format

The esports tournament begins in April, featuring a total of 8 teams. Details about the event schedule are still pending, but we’re aware of the format as it will resemble that of Season 6. There will be a Regular Season, with each team playing against every other once (round-robin format). After this, there will be Best of Three (BO3) matches to determine the winners.

In each match, a team receives three points for a 2-0 victory. If the score changes to 2-1, the triumphant team still gets two points, while the losing team secures one point. The top six teams from this phase progress to the Playoffs. The Playoffs will commence with the participating teams that qualified in the next stage.

At this phase, we’ll employ a mixed elimination format. Teams seeded 3rd to 6th will face off in the initial round. Meanwhile, the top two seeds get an advantage and commence from Round 2 without playing the first round. All matches, except for the lower bracket final, will be best-of-three series (BO3). The lower bracket final, however, will consist of a best-of-five series (BO5). Lastly, the Grand Final will be a best-of-seven series (BO7).

Participating Teams

8 teams in all will compete for the champion’s trophy during MPL MENA Season 7. Out of these, six were given direct invitations from the previous season (Season 6). The remaining two teams will qualify from the Egypt qualifier and the GCC qualifier.

Prize Pool

The amount of money up for grabs in this year’s competition is less than last time, totaling only $60,000. Each team’s share will be determined by their final position in the event. Unfortunately, the specific breakdown of the prize pool has yet to be revealed by the authorities, so we’ll have to keep an eye out for further updates.
