Story Highlights

  • The Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup 2026 will be held at the Esports World Cup for the third year in a row.
  • The tournament is scheduled to run from July 22nd to August 1st, with a massive $3,000,000 prize pool.

So, Mobile Legends has had a great 2025 esports season, and now we’re gearing up for the international championships in July! I’m really excited because the Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026 is going to be part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) again – it’s the third time they’ve teamed up, which is awesome!

This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever, featuring more participating regions and a redesigned competitive format. With a massive $3,500,000 prize pool and more ways to qualify, MOONTON’s popular MOBA game will make a significant impact.

According to Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games, the company’s five-region plan and push for globalization are helping to make it easier for all regions to compete on the international esports stage.

The MSC 2026: Schedule and Format

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship (MSC) has a strong track record at the Esports World Cup (EWC). Last year’s tournament, MSC 2025, was incredibly popular, attracting over 47 million hours of viewership. It was a standout event, making up more than 12% of the total watch time across all 25 games featured in the EWC.

I’m so excited for this event! It’s happening from July 22nd to August 1st. We don’t have all the details about how it’ll run yet, but I’m sure it’ll be amazing!

A massive prize pool for the MSC 2026

Teams will be sharing a prize pool of $3 million. What began in 2017 as a small, regional event for Southeast Asia has grown significantly. It’s now a major esports competition providing substantial support for teams and organizations.

The winner will definitely receive the largest prize. But everyone else can be happy too, as the prizes are distributed fairly and designed to leave all participants feeling satisfied.

Enough of the words, let’s see the distribution of the prize pool of the event:

Team Ranking Prize Pool
The Champion $1,000,000
Runner-up $500,000
3rd $250,000
4th $150,000
5th-8th $100,000
9th-12th $66,000
13th-16th $50,000
17th $41,000
18th-19th $35,000
20th-21st $32,500
22nd-23rd $30,000

Participating Teams

This year’s event will feature 26 teams – three more than last year. The tournament will be divided into two stages: the Main Stage and the Wildcard Stage.

MOONTON says this wildcard event is the largest one yet, with Western Europe now participating. This expansion aims to establish a strong competitive base for the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), joining existing strongholds in Southeast Asia, the Americas, Eastern Europe/Central Asia, and East Asia. The goal is to strengthen the overall competitive scene for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang worldwide.

India is a key new market for the game, especially as it expands into South Asia. This growth, combined with the game’s existing presence in many regions, is increasing competition.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) is returning, and a new qualifying tournament for Western Europe is being added. Sixteen teams will compete, though the specific teams haven’t been revealed yet, so keep an eye out for more information!
