Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 brings the global competition to Saudi Arabia
In 2025, Moonton’s popular Mobile Battle Arena game, Mobile Legends, will be hosting the Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025. This event will coincide with the Esports World Cup, showcasing two major tournaments. The announcement of both the Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC) and the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) promises a significant escalation in esports events for the year 2025.
The competition is set to unfold in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, commencing from July 10, 2025. Teams will strive for honor during this unique event, which conforms to the esports roadmap for MLBB in 2025. This special occasion boasts a more substantial prize fund and an updated system. The event is being jointly orchestrated by MOONTON, Esports World Cup Foundation, and Hero Esports.
Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025: Schedule and Format
To start off, we have the preliminary round, known as the Wild Card, happening from July 10th to 13th. Here, eight teams will be randomly assigned into two groups. The top-performing teams in each group will proceed to the cross-group semi-finals, which are also referred to as the Wildcard Playoffs. Four teams will then engage in a knockout tournament, and the Grand Finals will be a best-of-five series. Ultimately, the victorious team will earn a spot in the Group Stage.
As a gamer, I used to grind through the old BO2 single-round-robin group stage, but now it’s all about the thrill and challenge of the new BO3 double-elimination format. This fresh structure demands consistent and decisive gameplay to truly prove my skills. The groups will be split into two pools of eight teams each, and only the top four from every pool will make it to the knockout stage, where the real battles begin!

The tournament phase, referred to as the “Knockout Round,” kicks off on July 30th and continues until August 2nd, 2025. In this stage, teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket. Each match will be played in a Best of Five (BO5) format, with the Grand Final being a Best of Seven (BO7). The revamped league structure has introduced unforeseen matchups that will test players to confront the unexpected.
Prize Pool
As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that the title has just unveiled an updated prize pool of a whopping $3,000,000! That’s not all; there are additional adjustments too, like introducing a third-party match and a fresh draw system. These changes underscore their dedication to the esports community. With such high stakes at play, every participant can expect an impressive payout from this exhilarating competition.
