It seems that the fantasy realm of Bikini Bottom and the Land of Dawn are on a collision course, given the apparent confirmation of the anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Spongebob Squarepants collaboration. Back in January 2025, MOONTON Games sent out surveys suggesting this exciting crossover event.

Leaked assets and trusted sources hint at a confirmed Mobile Legends x SpongeBob collaboration

Back in January, MLBB (Mobile Legends Bang Bang) carried out a survey about potential SpongeBob collaboration skins, asking the community for their opinions. Six months have passed, and now there’s renewed excitement as popular leakers like abyssal_mlbb have shared a leaked themed Killing Notification.

This individual is recognized for reliable information leaks, and such disclosures typically occur once collaborations are officially announced. In addition, leak sources like Xcalibur and ML Leaks have explicitly verified that the collaboration has been confirmed now. Unsurprisingly, the community, including myself, is thrilled about this upcoming collaboration.

In a previous poll involving Mobile Legends players, they were asked to choose which heroes should team up with SpongeBob for crossover skins. Among the options presented to SpongeBob were Cyclops, Diggie, and another hero. Patrick had choices of Franco, Bane, Khufra, and Gloo, while Mr. Krabs picked Bane, Chips, and an additional character.

It appears that Cyclops would suit SpongeBob’s appearance quite well, and it’s possible he has this skin now. Additionally, there are indications that Gloo could also receive a collaboration skin, as Patrick and Bane seem to be the ideal picks for Mr. Krabs. Their styles complement each other, particularly since Bane’s pirate motif aligns well with Mr. Krab’s greedy personality.

Though Sandy isn’t explicitly named in the survey, it seems likely that we’ll see her involved as well. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tends to incorporate one female character during collaborations, and given that Sandy already has a collab skin in Supercell’s Brawl Stars, it’s reasonable to anticipate she may be featured with a new skin or special item at this event.

Furthermore, numerous YouTubers have been discussing the possibility of Squidward appearing as an emote, much like Itachi Uchiha, within the NARUTO collaboration. However, at this point, there’s no formal announcement or confirmed release date from MLBB. As such, we’re all left in suspense, so keep an eye out for future updates on this exciting potential development.
