It appears that the fantastical underwater realm of Bikini Bottom and the heroes from the Land of Dawn might be coming together, as it’s rumored that a collaboration between Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and SpongeBob Squarepants has been confirmed. As early as January 2025, MOONTON Games started conducting surveys for this intriguing crossover event.

Leaked assets and trusted sources hint at an MLBB x SpongeBob collab

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got some exciting news to share! If you haven’t heard yet, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) conducted a skin survey way back in January, asking the gaming community for their thoughts on who should potentially collaborate with SpongeBob SquarePants for some amazing skins. Fast forward six months, and the anticipation is building up again! The rumors are swirling, and trusted leakers like abyssal_mlbb have shared a leaked themed “Killing Notification”. Can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Information about the collaboration is reliable, often being released only after it has been officially confirmed. Furthermore, leakers such as Xcalibur, ML Leaks, and Kazuki Official have all confirmed that the collaboration is now set. Naturally, the community, including myself, is eagerly anticipating this upcoming event.

In a previous poll, Mobile Legends players were inquired about which heroes would be suitable for collaboration skins. For SpongeBo, the options were Cyclops, Diggie, and another character. Patrick’s selections were Franco, Bane, Khufra, and Gloo, while Mr. Krabs chose Bane, Chip, and one more option.

Cyclops, Gloo, and Bane could be getting special collab skins

It appears that Cyclops could be an ideal match as a skin for SpongeBob, and it’s quite possible he has acquired this character. Additionally, there seems to be a strong possibility that Gloo may collaborate on a skin, as Patrick Star and Bane appear to be the best candidates for Mr. Krabs. Their styles complement each other, particularly since Bane’s pirate motif aligns well with Mr. Krab’s greedy personality.

Although Sandy isn’t explicitly mentioned in the survey, it’s likely we’ll see her involvement as well. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang typically introduces one female character in collaborations like this, and Sandy has previously appeared as a collab character in Supercell’s Brawl Stars. Therefore, I suspect she will be receiving a skin or some other feature at this event.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been buzzing about the rumors swirling around the gaming community. YouTubers are abuzz with talk that Squidward could make an appearance as an emote, much like Itachi Uchiha did, in the ongoing NARUTO collaboration.
