Okay, so get this – starting January 1st, 2026, Mobile Legends is getting a huge update called Project Reforge! Basically, they’re completely revamping how we get those awesome Collector and Legend skins. They’re changing up the Grand Collection event and the Magic Wheel too, so it’s gonna be a whole new way to snag those skins I’ve been wanting!

MLBB Project Reforge Update Overview

The upcoming Project Reforge update will significantly improve Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s most valuable skins – Collectors and Legends. As part of this, the Grand Collection Event and Magic Wheel Shop will be completely updated in January 2026. This update also includes a new system for compensating players for the unique trail effects on Legend skins.

The game will now be free to play, and existing players will receive rewards including 500 Diamonds and 15 Magic Wheel Potions. The developers have also updated Saber’s “Codename Storm” Legend skin in preparation for its release in the updated Magic Wheel in January 2026.

Here’s what to expect from the Revamped Grand Collection and Magic Wheel events:

Exquisite Collection Event

The Grand Collection Event is being revamped and renamed to the Exquisite Collection Event. This updated event will offer a variety of rewards for players at a lower cost than previous events.

Here are some of the interesting things to note about the new Exquisite Collection Event:

  • Following it’s Revamp on January 1st, the Exquisite Collection Event will debut with the all-new Kimmy Collector skin.
  • Other Returning skins include Alice Luckybox, Angela Collector, Lapu Lapu Collector, and Claude Luckybox skin.
  • The Exquisite Collection event promises to be more Cheaper, allowing you to get a Collector skin for as low as 1500 diamonds.
  • The Exquisite Collection Event will have an extra Spend and Recharge event giving out free Draw tokens.
  • Each Draws now has the same Daily Discounted price and 10x draw price.

Revamped Magic Wheel

The Magic Wheel is receiving a significant update to its design and how it looks. Here are some of the most important new features you’ll find:

  • Revamped Saber Legend skin will be available from January 1st in the Revamped Magic Wheel.
  • Your accumulated Magic Core will be converted into Draw progress in the ratio 1:1.
  • You can’t use Crystal of Aurora for Magic Wheel Draws anymore.
  • New Legend skins will release at regular intervals, as the Devs will be Revamping Alucard Legend skin around March 2026.
  • All Legend skin Trail effects are now free. You will receive Diamonds or Magic Wheel Potions compensation for all Legend skin Trail Effects you own.
